#92 Open Heavens; Expand Your Expectations Part 2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:05:14

Deuteronomy 28:12 “The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow”. We serve a God who is a moving God.God is never stagnant or stationary. God is constantly moving. The bible says he is the same yesterday, today and forever but that does not mean he is not moving. God is always moving and because he is always moving, he makes sure that he our lives are moving from one level of goodness to another. When God opens the heavens, you must expand your expectations because when God opens the heavens, you can’t stay the same way that you used to stay. Everything in the heavens is for you and God wants you to have access in everything that is in the heavens. When God opens the heavens, it becomes your responsibility to expand your expectation. Proverbs 23:18 “For surely there is a reward, and thine expectation shall not be cut off”. That means you must have an expectation. It is very sad and unfortunate that some Christians go through life without expectation because they do not want to be disappointed.God wants you to expect big things from him. Deuteronomy 28:12 “The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand:” God wants to open to you his good treasure, God doesn’t want you to struggle, he doesn’t want you to suffer,God wants to open unto you his good treasure. The good treasure is not gold, diamond, houses, all these things are good but the good treasure is the heavens.  When he opens the heavens, he said that he will give rain unto your land. That means when God is giving rain unto your land, you must have something planted on your land because God is not a waster. God does not waste so when he opens the heavens and he gives you rain, the purpose of the rain is to stop every form of famine. The purpose of the rain is to break every siege of famine and when the rain comes, it is important for you to have something planted. But when you have nothing planted and the rain comes, the rain will water nothing.

#91 Open Heavens; Expand Your Expectations Part 1 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:19:01

Deuteronomy 28:12 “The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow”. Please understand that everyone in this world is operating under a certain level of heaven. You are either operating under an open heaven or a closed heaven. These two groups of people are all under the heavens. The bible categorically declares that the Lord shall open unto you his good treasure. That means that there is a treasure that God has that is good and it takes only God to open that good treasure. That means there might be something that you and i do to qualify God to open for us his good treasure. God rewards based on our works, he doesn’t just reward. Before God can open this good treasure for you must have done something to qualify for the opening of this good treasure. What is a treasure? A treasure is something that is precious. A precious treasure is something that isn’t left in plain view. A precious treasure is always kept in a secure location. The good treasure is not gold, diamond, silver, necklace but the good treasure is the heaven. For you to benefit from this treasure you need to have a land, not a physical land, you have to be that land, a good land, a good ground. Every time you here of famine that is an absence of rain. When the enemy wants to create a natural famine, he creates a natural siege to cut every source of water so that famine is introduced. Your land has a season Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”. If you do not see all the works of your hands not being blessed that means you are operating under a closed heaven and not an open heaven.

 #90 Jesus Christ: The Righteous | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:48:23

1 John 2:1 “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous”. Christianity is founded on Christ Jesus. Anything done without Christ being the centre of it is not of Christ. The church belongs to Jesus and therefore it is important for us to emphasise Jesus in everything. The church is not a place for politics, the church is a place where the lost must come and receive eternal life. It is important for us to understand the purpose of the church. What you don’t understand you will abuse. Where a purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable. We have to understand the reason why we come to church and do what we do because Jesus Christ is the centre of what we do. In the church we do not lift up the agenda of men but the name of Jesus. In every church where Jesus is lifted up, the bible says he will draw all men unto myself. When we start lifting up Jesus, what happens is that we are lifted up with him. Every time you lift up Jesus, your life is automatically lifted. You cannot lift up the name of Jesus and be down. Jesus is the truth. John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”. When the bible says you will know the truth is means that you will have an intimate relationship with the truth. This knowing is an intimate knowing where you will know him without a shadow of doubt. The truth that you know, based on your level of intimacy, the truth that you know will make you free. Not set you, it will make you free. When he makes you free, he changes your mindset, he transforms you inside out. Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek”.

#89 There is Power in the Name of Jesus | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Matthew 1:21“And she shall bring forth a son,and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins”. One of the reasons why many Christians don’t experience the power in the name of Jesus is not because there is no power in the name of Jesus but simply because they have become familiar with the name. Most of the time what you do often you become familiar with. Over time because of that many believers don’t see the power in the name. The spirit of familiarity has robbed many people of the power in the name of Jesus.  Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”.It is important for us as believers to go back to the foundation and understand that there is so much power in this name and if you can get rid of being familiar of this name, you will see the miracles that will happen in your life. Many people use the name Jesus as a swear word. They call the name Jesus when they are not meant to call the name Jesus and because they use the name regularly we have lost the meaning and power in the name. The name of Jesus is powerful by itself; you do not have to struggle. You do not need to be holy to use it, it is powerful by itself. Philippians 2:5-10 “5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

 #88 Grace Centered Marriage | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:12:37

Genesis 2:18 “The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him”.Marriage is an institution founded by God. Every institution has its own rules and regulations. The purpose of the rules and regulations is not to destroy the pupils of that institution but to help to guide them. When God founded marriage, what he did was he gave basic rules and instructions how marriage should work. One of the key foundations of marriage is that marriage was created for companionship. Companionship is key because 99% of your relationship or marriage must be founded on companionship. If you do not have a companion in your husband or wife then there is a serious issue. Companionship simply means friendship. A companion is someone you can be able to relate to on every level. Please understand, in marriage there is nothing like spirituality, don’t be too spiritual. You have to have a balanced relationship; don’t let God be the centre of everything. You need to find a friend in your husband or your wife. You have to be able to relate to one another at all levels. Be there for one another. Show interest in what your husband or wife loves.

#87 Understanding the Importance of Soul Winning | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

The church of Jesus Christ has lost the focus of soul winning. Our drive is on “bless me now, what can I receive now”. What we have to understand is that we have to make the weightier matters weightier and the lesser matters lesser. The most important thing in the body of Christ, must be soul winning. Jesus Christ was slain for the foundations of this earth. Jesus was crucified so that you and I can be saved. “He that wineth soul is wise.” The opposite is also true which means, he that doesn’t win souls is unwise. Soul winning must become the heartbeat of the church. Soul winning must become the number one desire of the church. The reason many people don’t go for outreach is because they have lost the passion to win souls because there is no more compassion in the body of Christ. Matthew 9:35-38”  Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field”. Without compassion, you have no feelings for the lost. Without compassion you cannot reach the lost and the reason why there is a mentality of me myself and I in the church is because we have no compassion. Without compassion we cannot reach the world for Jesus. When you have the spirit of compassion, everyday you will be thinking about the lost.

#86 Let My People Go Part 5 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Exodus 8:1 “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me”. Please understand that the purpose of the liberation is for us to serve God. The whole purpose of God releasing you and I out of the captivity and grip of pharaoh is so that we will serve him. If you are too big to serve God, god will be too small to bless you. If you are not willing to serve God you are not going to go to the Promised Land. When you serve God it is not he who is benefiting but you who will benefit from the serving. God doesn’t want you to go so that you can serve pharaoh. God wants you to go so that you can serve him. The sad this is that even after many people are released from captivity, rather than serving God they go and serve the devil. Serving God is crucial. When you serve, that is where the blessing is. Matthew 6:33 “ But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”. The whole kingdom is founded on serving. Matthew 23:11 “The greatest among you will be your servant”. Serving God pays. Leaders are not rewarded; it is those who serve that are rewarded. God does not reward leaders, he rewards laborers. Laborers are those who are paid so do not be too big to serve God. Swerving God pays and it pays more than anything in this world. The primary purpose is to serve God. Don’t be a God to yourself.

 #85 Let My People Go Part 4 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:53:30

Exodus 8:1 “And the Lord spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve me”. The primary purpose of freedom is so that we can serve God without restriction. God’s desire is for us to worship him without any form of constraint. The whole purpose of God creating man and woman is so that we may serve him. The devils number one desire is for you to be in bondage and to restrict your serving towards God. Pharaoh doesn’t respect you until you go. He will treat you anyhow. God’s desire is for us to go free. God does not want us to serve the dictates of the devil. The devil is a liar. Liberation begins from the mind. Our freedom begins from your mind and until you are free in your mind, there is nothing you will be able to do. Freedom doesn’t begin from outward, it begins from the mind. Philippians 2:5 “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”. John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”. The truth doesn’t set us free, the truth makes us free. Matthew 4:17 “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”. It is a process of being made and it begins from the mind and until your mind is renewed you will stay in the bondage of pharaoh. Following Jesus is doing it whole heartedly. Don’t allow where you are today to determine who you are. Who you are has no basis on where you are today. 4 Things that pharaoh represents: 1) Pharaoh represents slavery. 2) Pharaoh represents bondage. 3) Pharaoh represents working long hours without rewards. 4) Pharaoh represents paying very little so that you can come back for more. God never created the Babylonian system. The Babylonian system is working to receive pay. Luke 5:1-5 “And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.3

 #86 How to Be a Profitable Steward Part 3 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:07:38

2 Timothy 4:9-11 “Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me: 10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. 11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry”. Every time we serve God, it is a sign that we have been liberated and freed from pharaoh. Testimonies are pointer of Gods acts in our midst. One of the challenges of Christianity is the transition of being a bond servant to a free man in Christ. The only way we can walk in freedom that we have in Christ Jesus is to see ourselves in line with what the word says. 2 Corinthians 5:1 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”. What your natural body tells you is not who you are. Who you are is what God says you are. The apostle Paul was the greatest apostle ever and in his greatness, he walked a life of loneliness. One of the hallmarks of leadership is that you have to learn to walk the paths of loneliness. The most lonely people on earth are great and good leaders. Loneliness is part of the package and people will forsake you on your walk to greatness. One of the things people are not able to deal with is to transition from being left by a dear friend or a loving friend, to the transition of being free in Christ Jesus. If you are not careful, your past can imprison your future. Ecclesiastes 7:8 “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit”. In life it is not how you start but how you finish. No one is rewarded on a race on how they started. They are rewarded on how they finish meaning, our finish is more important than how we started.

 #85 Let My People Go Part 3 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:10:50

Exodus 8:1“And the Lord spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve me”. Gods desire is for you and I to serve him, but the only way we can serve God is to be freed. Until we are free we cannot serve God. Pharaoh never wanted to let Gods children go. Pharaoh’s desire is to keep you in bondage all the days of your life. Exodus 10:7-9 “7 And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, how long shall this man be a snare unto us? Let the men go, that they may serve the Lord their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed? 8 And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the Lord your God: but who are they that shall go? 9 And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the Lord”. It is God who determines the conditions of our freedom and not pharaoh. You must not allow the devil to determine the terms of your freedom. If you do, he has strings attached to it. You must always remember the prophetic word of freedom to always negotiate with pharaoh on that basis. Pharaoh will give you something that looks like it is good enough but not according to the terms that God has defined. Exodus 10:8 “

 #84 Let My People Go Part 2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:53

Exodus 8:1 “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me”. The primary purpose of release is so that we can serve God. The primary purpose of God coming to take us out of Egypt is so that you and I can be free to serve God at any time without restriction. Serving God is the best thing you will ever do in life. One of the greatest privileges in life is to be enrolled in the army of God, to serve God with all your heart and with Joy. God will never deliver anyone who is not willing to serve him. The question I would like to ask is, since God has liberated you have you served him with all your heart, all your mind? If you’re not serving him, your liberation and freedom is not complete. The purpose of serving is to come out with great substance. Genesis 15:14 “But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions”. Whenever you serve, your great service leads to great substance. Please understand, great substance only comes out after serving. Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”. When we seek first the kingdom of God, we are serving. For us to come out of this captivity that pharaoh has kept us in, it will take the favor of God to spoil him. You cannot do this by the arm of flesh. You need favor to provoke the release of that great substance. Exodus 3:16-18 “Go, assemble the elders of Israel and say to them, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob appeared to me and said: I have watched over you and have seen what has been done to you in Egypt. 17 And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites a land flowing with milk and honey. 18 The elders of Israel will listen

 #83 How to Be a Profitable Steward Part 2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:14:32

4 Important things that you must do consistently in this month of Stewardship. 1) Pray for the pastor and church for 10 minutes every day. 2) Win one soul this month. 3) Serve in the house of God faithfully. 4) Give your tithes and offerings faithfully. Even when you after the tithes and offerings have been taken, take it upon yourself to still give faithfully. The only way up in the kingdom of God is the way through serving.  Matthew 23:11 “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant”. That means the kingdom of God functions on stewardship, it functions of serving. Serving is the secret code in the kingdom of God. The bible says “For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica”. This means that there are some people who forsake the ministry. If you allow your emotions to govern your life, you will not go far. I believe that the reason Demas forsook Paul was because one day Paul was preaching something that Demas didn’t like and left. Any Christian that allows his or her emotions to govern them will not go far. We are not lead by our emotions, we are lead by the spirit of God. If this is the place God has called you to be delivered, you can go everywhere but you will not receive that deliverance but from where God has made it so.

#82 How to Be a Profitable Steward Part 1 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

The kingdom of God is rooted in serving. The kingdom of God is founded on serving. Jesus said in Matthew 23:11 “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant”. That means in the kingdom of God, greatness is equated to serving.  If you want to be great in life, you have to learn to serve because without serving in the house of God, God cannot serve your needs. There are 4 benefits of Stewardship. 1) Stewardship is the gateway to Health and Vitality. Proverbs 13:17 “A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health”. If you want free insurance of free Health and Vitality, the secret is in stewardship. A faithful ambassador is health. Health and Vitality is a benefit of stewardship because if you are sick, who is going to serve the interest of the kingdom? That means God will ensure that you walk in Health and Vitality. 2) Stewardship is the Gateway to All Round Peace. 2 Chronicles 15:12-15 “And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul; 13 That whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. 14 And they sware unto the Lord with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.

 #81 Let my People Go Part 1 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:11:22

Exodus 8:1 “And the Lord spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve me”. God’s ultimate desire is to deliver his children out of bondage into freedom. What you have to understand is that the bible says we have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness into the marvelous light. So God delivers out of and delivers us into. God delivers us out of bondage into freedom and the purpose of the liberation is for Gods people to serve him. God said to Moses “go and tell pharaoh, let my people go that they may serve me.” The whole purpose of freedom and God bringing you out of Egypt is for you to serve him. If you don’t want to serve God, forget about liberation because the purpose of Gods liberation is for you to serve him. The background of this scripture is that of Moses. Moses was born in Egypt and in captivity. When he was born there was a law that stated every male child was to be killed. Please understand that the destiny you carry determines the battles you fight. If you carry no destiny, you will fight no battles. The reasons why we have fought many battles and have won by the grace of God is because of the destiny we carry and your destiny determines your attack. When you carry destiny, you will go through challenges but they will never kill you. Do not cry over the attacks of the enemy. The purpose of that destiny is not only for you but for people who are linked to you and there are multitudes that are linked to you and to that destiny. Immediately Moses was born, the enemy released an attack but the bible says that when Moses’ mother saw he was a proper child, she did not kill him. What preserved him was being put in a basket and put on a river.  When you carry destiny, certain things will not make sense. How can a basket float on a river? When you carry destiny, you can be in a basket but you will float. When you are a destiny carrier, you will be put in a basket that is meant to sink. Others will be sinking but because you carry a destiny, you cannot go down; you cannot sink because there are multitudes whose destiny is connected to your destiny. Your destiny will not die.

#80 Entering Into the Realms of Grace Encounter Part 4 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Jesus never condemns anyone. Jesus has never condemned and Jesus will never condemn anyone. It is important for us to understand that Jesus is still in the business of restoring lives back to Gods goodness. God is a good God and because of his goodness he will not allow us to suffer shame or disappointment. We have established that Jesus is our high priest and when he goes about performing his priestly duties he does so in his priestly garment. We also established that when Jesus performed his priestly duties, the woman with the issue of blood was healed instantly because she knew she had to connect to Jesus. We are married to Jesus for life and what God has put together, let no man turn asunder. Romans 4:16 “Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all”. Notice that the scripture says that therefore, it might be by grace. Everything we will ever need is made available for us in grace but it takes faith to take whatever God has given us in grace. Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God”. Grace makes provision but faith takes everything that grace has made available for us. When we talk about grace encounter it is important that there are certain things that are only released when we are in unity because we are stronger and divided we are weaker. Psalm 133:1-3 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore”. The commanded blessing is where there is unity, where we are united together in one voice, in one mind fulfilling what God has called us to do.
