Every institution has its own rules and regulations. The purpose of the rules and regulations is not to destroy the pupils of that institution but to help to guide them. When God founded marriage, what he did was he gave basic rules and instructions how marriage should work. One of the key foundations of marriage is that marriage was created for companionship. Companionship is key because 99% of your relationship or marriage must be founded on companionship. If you do not have a companion in your husband or wife then there is a serious issue. Companionship simply means friendship. A companion is someone you can be able to relate to on every level. Please understand, in marriage there is nothing like spirituality, don’t be too spiritual. You have to have a balanced relationship; don’t let God be the centre of everything. You need to find a friend in your husband or your wife. You have to be able to relate to one another at all levels. Be there for one another. Show interest in what your husband or wife loves.
