Take
Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry”. Every
time we serve God, it is a sign that we have been liberated and freed from
pharaoh. Testimonies are pointer of Gods acts in our midst. One of the
challenges of Christianity is the transition of being a bond servant to a free
man in Christ. The only way we can walk in freedom that we have in Christ Jesus
is to see ourselves in line with what the word says. 2 Corinthians 5:1 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new
creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”.
What your natural body tells you is not who you are. Who you are is what God
says you are. The apostle Paul was the greatest apostle ever and in his
greatness, he walked a life of loneliness. One of the hallmarks of leadership
is that you have to learn to walk the paths of loneliness. The most lonely
people on earth are great and good leaders. Loneliness is part of the package
and people will forsake you on your walk to greatness. One of the things people
are not able to deal with is to transition from being left by a dear friend or
a loving friend, to the transition of being free in Christ Jesus. If you are
not careful, your past can imprison your future. Ecclesiastes 7:8 “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning
thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit”.
In life it is not how you start but how you finish. No one is rewarded on a
race on how they started. They are rewarded on how they finish meaning, our
finish is more important than how we started.
