DaShae Whitney and Tyana Lashae Whitney, the daughters of Rev. Whitney & Mrs. Shannon Whitney, are young authors, following in their parents' footsteps. They are the authors of 2 books:  * Be Encouraged is an inspirational book skillfully written from a youthful perspective. These young authors utilize poems, songs, and short stories that say to the reader, "Be Encouraged because God loves you!"  * My Burns Are Beautiful is a compilation of poems depicting an extraordinary young woman's triumph over a life-crushing trauma and learning to process the event that could have shattered her life. Dashae's poems depict a profound resilience of wounds healed by faith in God's goodness, care, and love. Dashae, a Survivor, was in an accident at the age of 3. She mistakenly fell into her hot water bathtub. With 2nd & 3rd degree burns over 80% of her body, she spent 45 days in The Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles, California. She was given a 50/50 chance to survive medically speaking, but GOD said differently! At the age of 9, Dashae was selected to ring the New York Stock Exchange Closing Bell (December 1, 2005). Minister D.A. Whitney, better known as The Rev, is a Brooklyn, New York native who grew up in California after joining the US Marine Corps.  No stranger to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the initial training for The Rev began under the tutelage of his parents, both Ministers of the Gospel, who instilled in him a foundation of the Word of God & faithful stewardship. In 2008, The Rev became a licensed Minister of the Gospel, co-founded Blessed 4 Life Ministries & co-authored his first self-published book. Debra McKinney Price is a Gospel Recording artist, who, since 2000 has been empowering and encouraging women through her music. She does this by sharing GOD’S word in songs at clubs, conferences, churches, concerts, radio, festivals, movies, and more. Debra’s goal is, through the power of music, to help young women uncover their inner beauty, confidence, and strengths. According to Debra, "There's healing for depression, death, divorce, low self-esteem." Coming out of an abusive marriage forced Debra and her children to live in a shelter for battered women. Three weeks after the death of one of her twins, she filed for a divorce while battling feelings of hopelessness, depression, bitterness, anger, and fears of rejection. Debra had to Learn to Love herself. This, in turn, taught her how much she's LOVED and Approved by the One who created her. Consequently, Debra has come to learn that there’s Hope and Healing for all broken hearts. Ernestine M. Wallace, a/k/a EMW, is the idol of her younger sister, Bessie. Their strong bonding and EMW's singing at home has become therapy for Bessie who was born with a disability. A recent high school graduate preparing to attend college in September, EMW is determined, nevertheless, to maintain her musical interest.
