It's the last week of the Sun's journey through Cancer, and the energies are quite intense as the Sun opposes both Pluto RX and Saturn RX in Capricorn. Emotional waves are rolling through that are both purging and regenerating the heart chakra, and gifting us with opportunities to connect with more of ourselves that have been suppressed. Mercury in Cancer squares Chiron in Aries, adding an emotional charge and/or wound to communications, so go easy on what you need to say - and it's okay to hold back on expressing now, too. As Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto continue to journey retrograde (and then direct) through Capricorn, we are feeling the pressure to get clearer on our life priorities and what direction we need to follow next. The Sun continues to journey through Cancer after an intense Capricorn Lunar Eclipse that stirred up deeper emotions within us individually and collectively. This week is a time to come back to yourself and honor your full energy field, especially as we navigate a chaotic year. July begins with a heavy emphasis on Capricorn energies as Saturn retrograde returns to the 10th sign, joining Jupiter and Pluto, and then the final Capricorn eclipse until 2028 occurs on July 4. A grand removal of energies is underway, and not everything is what it seems. Mercury is retrograde in Cancer, now behind the Sun, and Mars is in Aries, approaching a conjunction with Chiron. July has a cautionary energy to it, and the need to go sideways may actually be more productive than impulsively trying to force anything forward. The South Node in Sagittarius will be connecting with the Galactic Center, also removing what is complete for humanity's collective belief systems and expired energies. As June ends, we have a few days of 6 planets in retrograde before Venus stations direct on June 25th at 5 degrees Gemini. Mercury retrograde in Cancer is bringing up feelings below the surface that we're meant to connect with and resolve with compassion for ourselves. Mars moves into Aries on June 28, amping up the desire for getting back out into the world and getting us moving into what we want next. But the second half of 2020 is going to still be intense as July revisits the Capricorn planetary line-up from January when COVID 19 began, but now Mars in Aries will be a major player and perhaps make the virus experience even more active in the second half of the year. Astrologically speaking, I think COVID will be coming back and there will be more quarantine regulations. The June 20th eclipse brought in a lot of new energies, shifting into a softer energy field, and I'll share more about what I've been seeing around this change. Mars in Aries is reprogramming our egos and desires, as well as shifting us into a higher place of self-knowingness that also includes Divine Feminine energies. In Part 2 of this topic, we look at how relationship changes have been a big theme in 2020 with both Venus and Mars on different paths and individual retrogrades. A big season of change is underway over the next week with numerous astrological shifts that call us forward, ready or not. The Sun enters Cancer on June 20 and immediately brings an impactful Cancer Solar Eclipse at 0 degrees. This is the biggest eclipse of the year, and activates intense life and world changes. Mercury stations retrograde on June 17/18 at 15 degrees Cancer, with Neptune in Pisces stationing retrograde at 21 degrees Pisces on June 22. Venus will then station direct at 5 degrees Gemini on June 24. Mars begins a new 2 year cycle in Aries and provides inspired direction forward to what you want and desire now, with the energy going into early 2021. Mars in Aries supports beginnings at higher levels of self-knowingness based on what you have healed, learned, developed and mastered in recent years. We are in between eclipses and there is a slowing down in the energies as we move through this week in June. Gemini season is underway, but there is a strong Pisces undercurrent as the Sun squares Neptune in Pisces and Mars conjunct Neptune in Pisces over this week. The Sun in Gemini also makes an inconjunct to both Pluto RX and Jupiter RX in Capricorn, adding yet another layer of waiting out a process and not trying to force anything. It is a beneficial time to look at what healing work is coming up for you to pay attention to so you can make the most of this clearing out cycle. The south node journeys through Sagittarius until January 2022, highlighting what you have outgrown and showing what no longer connects with your current truth system.
