Rev VR Podcast (Ep.94): Discussing NUREN, A New VR Experience with Jake Kaufman and Jessie Seely. I love it when developers send me their stuff to try out before it goes live. When I am intrigued by what I see or experience, I immediately try to get them on my podcast to discuss their project. Thus is the case with NUREN - The New Renaissance. Jake "Virt" Kaufman is already a well-known name in the game space with titles such as Shovel Knight, Ducktales Remastered, and many others that feature his soundtrack work. Joining him in this project is artist Jessie Seely, who's voice is heard in such titles as Double Dragon Neon and BloodRayne: Betrayal, as well as the already popular VR title, Vanguard V. Together, along with a team of artists and developers, they are attempting to create a new VR experience called NUREN - The New Renaissance. Their goal is to assemble the world's first animated feature-length virtual reality music experience. Picture Pink Floyd's "The Wall", but in virtual reality.

According to Yuval Boger, CEO of Sensics, his company has over ten years of virtual reality work under its belt, mostly in commercial and military areas. Chris Mitchell, Product Manager at Razer, explains how his company's continued success in the high-end periferal area made this partnership an obvious one.

Rev VR Podcast (Ep.89): Reverend Kyle's Last Thoughts on VR in 2014 No guest in this episode, just me standing on my pulpit. I had considered doing a recap of 2014, but instead decided to simply share some of my final thoughts on VR as 2014 closes, and a look forward to the potential that 2015 brings. It is amazing to compare the journey from the 1980s to present day, with the wonderous road that we are traveling on right now. Future generations will wonder how we lived without the amazing technology they will have in a few decades. 2015 is truly ripe with possibilities as VR infects our world. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of my dedicated fans. I continue to do this podcast to fill in the gaps of time between announcements, and to continue to stoke the fires of excitement for virtual reality. Without you, my listeners, I would simply be talking to a wall. I also want to thank my fellow podcasters for sharing the responsibility of entertaining and informing this wonderful community. It takes all of us working together to keep the spirit of VR alive and growing.

Now there is, and Mark Schramm is making it happen. http://open-gear.com/
