Ten Forward: Episode 169 – Star Wars & Other Stuff In this episode of Ten Forward, Sina, got blown away by a Hurricane therefore the bar was left to Paul and Chris. In their usual, inimitable style they decided not to talk about Star Trek but about Star Wars & other stuff instead. They were joined by Jarman, Shawn Vanderloo and Damon Shaw. *Warning* Ten Forward is normally a family friendly show and although some words are bleeped out in this episode, Sina was not around so the boys did get a little adult in their conversation. Sina can be found on the East Coast looking wind swept. Paul can be found at home editing podcasts Shawn can be found on SciFiWaffle and The Rusted Robot podcasts and twitter @darthvaderloo Jarman can be found on A Play on Nerd podcast and @HistrionicSpock No one can find Damon Shaw The show can be found on Twitter and Facebook Email us or post a comment on the Trekmate Forum
Ten Forward: Episode 168 – Great moments in bad Trek In this episode, Sina, Dan and Paul discuss great moments in bad episodes of Star Trek. Yes, there are actually some bad episodes of Trek but if you delve deep enough you can always find at least one golden nugget of a scene in there somewhere. “Even in The Alternative factor and Catspaw!” I heard you cry. Listen to this episode and find out. Also listen to the longest ever feedback message that actually broke Sina! Sina can be found having a nervous breakdown Paul can be found drunk at his sister’s reading a book Dan can be found writing sensible notes on Star Trek episodes The show can be found on Twitter and Facebook Email us or post a comment on the Trekmate Forum
This week Sina and Evil Dan welcome JK Woodward, artist/illustrator extraordinaire, to discuss an episode that he believes is an under-appreciated episode… What hopeless cause is JK supporting this time? Remember, he came on the show to defend STV, so be ready for anything. JK’s beautiful art can be seen below. JK can be reached at: @JK_Woodward on Twitter and Instagram James Kenneth Woodward on Facebook JKWoodwardart.blogspot.com

This week Ryan Porter with Positively Nerdy joins Sina and Evil Dan to discuss the beloved TOS episode “The City on the Edge of Forever” and Harlan Ellison’s teleplay version, which was adapted into comic book format. The teleplay was wonderfully adapted by Scott Tipton and David Tipton, with beautiful and amazing art by J.K. Woodward. The comic format is available in collected hardback and paperback trades, as well as e-version. Let us know what you think about the differences in vision for “The City on the Edge of Forever.” Head on over to the forum (forum.trekmatefamily.com) if you would like to see the spectacular art by J.K. about which all three of us are raving. Woodward for the City on the Edge of Forever.
Darrell Taylor makes his long awaited return to the bar to discuss Romluans, Klingons and favourite “in the titles” characters. Warning! despite Sina and Chris both being on the show, it contains NO bloopers, honestly, there was nothing bloopable in the show at all, I was amazed, sure there is the odd flubbed word and stuff, but nothing that would be considered worthy of a blooper reel, hopefully this doesn’t mean that the next recorded has double the bloopers, but if it does, I’m not editing it so I don’t really care. Darrell’s podcast empire can be found here http://taylornetworkofpodcasts.com/ Darrell himself is on twitter https://twitter.com/theVoice123 Chris and Sina can be found via smoke signals and shouting very loudly,
This week, Sina and Chris welcome Dave with SciFi Commons to the bar to discuss his Desert Island choices. Sometimes El Presidente has good ideas, sometimes he has bad ideas, sometimes he don’t know if the idea is good or bad until it’s published, this is one of those times. Chris is joined by Evil Dan, Nice Damon and Richard from the Star Trek Risa Social Media Website to discuss which “things” they think are quintessential examples in Trek. Richard gets special thanks for jumping in at literally the last minute. If you want to check out Star Trek Risa go here…www.startrekrisa.com/ Oh and Jarman joined us at the end of the show so stay tuned for abuse! Share and enjoy!
Two Chrisses, a Sina, a Firbob and a Jarman walk into Ten Forward and discuss lots of stuff. And sing. And make fun of each other and other people (natch). And discuss some of Chris Johnson’s favorite Trek episodes. I’m too lazy and it’s too late to post all the contact information except for Chris, our guest, who can be found here: @carnivorej Also, Jarman is especially good at expectorating.
Thanks to the wonders of time travel, you are getting this episode which was recorded in the future. Thanks to Evil Dan for joining me at the bar and helping me drink some…green…stuff. We have a bar, we get to drink.
Sina gone running, Matt & Chris get Damon on the line, what did you think would happen?
Ten Forward: Episode 155 – An audience with Firbob’s lil’ sis’ In this weeks show; Firbob is drunk; Sina is glad to have another girl on the show, Chris… is Chris; Firbob growls at Sina and other random stuff in the large blooper sectiony thingy. Pass the wine please…
