On October 18, Huffnágel Pista, James Huff, Lucian Vâlsan and the guest, Mike Buchanan, will be talking about the vote in the European Parliament’s subcommittees regarding the forced female quotas in private companies’ boardrooms. It's hard to be a man these days. I you don't get married, you'll be a peter pan. A layabout. A no-good bum and also a some sort of sinister social cyst ready to explode all your unchanelled bachelorness all over the good folks of society. You can go the traditional route and earn an identity sacrificing for a woman. In exchange you get to call yourself the head of the household.  Of course if you take responsibility for a woman and a family, feminists' will call you a patriarchal devil.  And no matter how traditional your wife, you don't exactly have any protections should she get an itch that can only be scratched by a man who's, you know, more authoritative than you. Some men are deciding that maybe they'd just like to be… you know… a guy. Not a monster or a hero. Just themselves.  Without women. Or their expectations. But apparently that's not their prerogative. Because despite the abuse both camps like to heap on men for getting married, for staying single, for being divorced… for going left and going right and going nowhere at all… Men are still supposed to play the game.

As a woman involved in the Men's Movement, I'm often asked how it is that I came to be interested in men's issues. Sometimes the question is asked with skepticism, because, after all, why would a woman be interested in the rights of half the sentient beings that share the planet with her? Sometimes it's it's asked sincerely since the movement that's billed itself as women's voice in the world is also a movement that is virulently anti-male. And it's not like many women are correcting that perception. So why did I get involved? This week we will be dedicating our entire show to last week’s tragic suicide of Christian Adamek, a fifteen year old student at Sparkman High in Harvest Alabama.  We will be talking about Sparkman High School principal Michael Campbell’s actions after the now infamous streaking incident and before Adameks death as well as activism efforts to get him removed from his job.  We will also be talking about misandry in education and how it affects boys. We invite those who knew Christian to call in and share their thoughts and memories of him.  Undoubtedly this will be a difficult episode to listen to and participate in.  However, it is important that the issue of suicide and misandry facing young males today be tackled and dealt with.

Feminists don't care about having men dominate them. They care about having men walk away. They don't care about men being stronger then women. They care about men being seen as more vulnerable, or vulnerable at all. Feminists don't care about losing rights. They care about losing wrongs.   When Feminists engage with traditionalists it's in a flirtatious mood of "no but really yes."    That's why Feminists are more threatened by men's rights activists. We don't play their game; we won't play their game.   But Traditionalists will.    You two deserve each other. This week we have as our guests none other than Paul Elam and Dean Esmay who will talk about the recent MHRA rally in Toronto over the weekend.  This was an historic event that marked the first time MHRAs got together in public to express their views bringing the movement out of the digital medium and into the physical.  Paul and Dean will be describing events from a personal prospective and we will discuss what this event means for the future of the MHRM. Also to be discussed is what this means for the opposition and how it will force them to change their strategies for countering the MHRM.

The Canadian Association for Equality is hosting yet another lecture on men's issues at the University of Toronto tomorrow evening. The speaker, Dr Miles Groth, will be talking about why men's centers are needed on university campuses, and highlighting some of the biggest problems young men face in educational attainment. This is gearing up to be a major event, with a rally in Queen's Park for men and boys in crisis on the roster for the following day, sponsored by a number of advocacy organizations, including NCFM, AVFM and CCW.    Planning to attend are Paul Elam, Tom Golden, Dean Esmay, myself (Karen Straughan), Raz (the head of MRE), and even Nick Reading, Edmonton city council candidate and founding member of the Patriarchy Party. A documentary film crew will also be there, to record this historic event, and we hope members of the mainstream media will also be in attendance.    A number of feminists are also expected to… heh… attend the event. Amongst other things, the document wishes to force all the 28 unfortunate nations that are part of the European Union to take active measures (i.e. coercive totalitarian measures) to combat anti-feminism. Basically the document argues that the hateful gender ideology commonly known as feminism should be established as State-truths through State institutions. They should call them Ministries of Truths! We will discuss the document itself, the totalitarian practices of the EU and ways to take action against this nonsense. This is a war against free speech.
