WAO (We Are One) Coming to you live from Costa Rica and brought to you by the La Reserva Forest Foundation (LRFF). We invite you to participate in this most interesting and interactive show by calling in or participating in the "green" chat room. LRFF is working to solve climate change and lost resources by restoring the tropical forests in the "lungs of the world".  Roberta met Monique Pool at the Climate Leaders Training in August 2012. Monique, from Suriname has turned her home into the Green Heritage Fund Suriname, a sloth sanctuary. The non-profit organization was established in October 2005 inspired by Wangari Maathai.  Adopt a sloth - On average Monique's group receives one sloth per week, help them to continue doing this important work by adopting a sloth. Climate change is our continuing topic. It's being caused by human activity not volcanoes, solar activity or a universal conspiracy. This is a platform for everyone to tell us your views on cc, ask questions about this most important issue. The majority of people are very uninformed about cc because it has become unmentionable in the mainstream media.  Talking about it is the first step to solving it.  As always great roots and culture music plus interesting Caribbean news and events.  Give us a call, get involved!

Scott-Heron's father, Gil Heron, nicknamed "The Black Arrow," was a Jamaican soccer player in the 1950s who became the first black athlete to play for the Glasgow Celtic Football Club. Gil's parents separated in his early childhood and he was sent to live with his maternal grandmother, Lillie Scott, in Jackson, Tennessee. When Scott-Heron was 12 years old, his grandmother died and he returned to live with his mother in the Bronx, New York City. He also attended the elementary schools in St. Ann's Bay during his youth. While attending these schools, Garvey first began to experience racism. When he was younger, he used to be friends and play with his white neighbors. However, when they reached their teenage years, they began to shun him.Sometime in 1900, Garvey entered into an apprenticeship with his uncle, Alfred Burrowes, who also had an extensive library, of which young Marcus made good use caribbeanradioshow@gmail.com 661-467-2407

Mind your Wants 'Cause someone Wants your Mind- Part 2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:00

The human brain is the most sophisticated computer system on earth. The computer is based on a human brain but, can not function to that high capacity...yet! Our brain was initially made and programmed by our Creator with all the information we need to navigate this life, communicated on a higher celestial level and conceive and invent everything to make our lives better. Celestial information was downloaded to us, and updates should occirs as we mature, but because of years of social reprogramming we have a mental and spiritual Trojan. A Trojan horse, or Trojan, is a non-self-replicating type of malware which appears to perform a desirable function but instead drops a malicious payload, often including a backdoor allowing unauthorized access to the target computer. These backdoors tend to be invisible to average users. Trojans do not attempt to inject themselves into other files like a computer virus. Trojan are there to steal information, or harm their host computer systems for remote control access to your system. The main purposeof a Trojan is to make its host system open to access. "Mind your wants cause someone wants your mind."

Many of these same youths who are members of Judgement Yard fraternity are musicians or have other direct affiliation with the music. As Sizzla Kalonji is a versatile pioneer within Reggae music, so are all of the battlefield warriors who compromise the body of the Judgement Yard organism, while Sizzla represents the head.
