We invite you to participate in this most interesting and interactive show by calling in or participating in the "green" chat room. LRFF is working to solve climate change and lost resources by restoring the tropical forests in the "lungs of the world".  Climate change is our continuing topic. It's being caused by human activity not volcanoes, solar activity or a universal conspiracy. This is a platform for everyone to tell us your views on cc, ask questions about this most important issue. The majority of people are very uninformed about cc because it has become unmentionable in the mainstream media.  Talking about it is the first step to solving it.  As always great roots and culture music plus interesting Caribbean news and events.  Give us a call, get involved!

In 1997 when my son was born I stopped playing music as this was a new adventure, but as the years flew by I realized that I was missing something in my life!!! My music.. In 2005 I Joined one of Bermudas biggest sounds by the name of OGS Genesis and took the sound overseas for two years in Atlanta, where I gained even more experience in the sound clash arena. Reggae Artist  important you shoud know bout music industry Social Networking is Not Going to Save Your Musical Life Social networking CAN be handy tool in connecting with your fans and keeping them on board and interested. It can also be a huge distraction if you don't give it the right place on your list of priorities. Now, I know you can think of a lot of musicians who have gotten something going on a social networking site. Go ahead, see how many you can list....ok, now what percentage of the total number of musicians who are on the net does your list represents? Exactly. Don't neglect the other parts of your music career in favor of being active on social networking sites. Ever. Also, don't ever pay anyone to "teach" you how to use social networking sites effectively. There is no magic formula. None. The best way to be successful on these sites is to be yourself and figure out what feels right to you. You don't need to pay someone to tell you how that's done, no matter how much some people may tell you that you do. It's not rocket science. Just jump in. You'll get it. If you need some advice about what works and what doesn't, there are more free resources dedicated to offering advice on this kind of stuff than you could hope to read in a lifetime. See, I even have a few myself: http://musicians.about.com/od/musicindustrybasics/a/musicneedtoknow_2.htm call with question  8-11pm 661-467-2407

I was just thinking... Are you a Zombie? The real Definition of Death | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 03:01:00

The ancient understanding of death iscompletely different than our modern concept. We will search for the keys to interpret these concepts tonight to clarify our continued study. According to Alvin Boyd Kuhn; “For in olden times the proper signification of the terms "death" and "the dead" was the touchstone by which the meaning of all scriptural writing could be gauged. The terms carried in their ancient usage a hidden or esoteric connotation, which was at once a clue to the primary meaning of the entire structure of theology and a key to the rational envisagement of our mortal life.” In other words he's saying; Death ain't death like we know it y'all! Do you believe that? What did our ancestors believe? Are we the real Zombies? We are going to explore these concepts on Friday May 24, 2013 at 8pm EST and 5pm PST Come and join us.

Can Jamaica recover from the FX of Edward Seaga leadership | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 04:01:00

How can Jamaica recover from the FX of Edward Seaga's damaging puppet leadership and restore Michael Manley's? What do you think of this article __. A lot of us don't know why what is talked about in the news is happening today. As always, the press gives a shallow snapshot and does not go in depth so we can get a clear view of what is happening in Jamaica. Here is a profile of Manley and Seaga, two Jamaican prime ministers and how the U.S. installed the White supremacist Seaga as a puppet Avatar in Jamaica. Seaga, a notorious CIA agent who sold Jamaica to servitude of US interest was given a franchise by the CIA. As his reward, the chief Carribean CIA agent, Edward Seaga was given a free hand in ensuring his perpetual dominance over Jamaican politics in macrocosm and Tivoli gardens in microcosm. Seaga then built up Jim Brown and his Shower Posse, into the most feared gang on the Island of Jamaica. Jim Brown and Shower Posse took over the Habour Fronts of Kingston, and controlled the ingress and egress of all drugs and general shipment into the Island. With that assured source of fund, Jim Brown expanded into other businesses, bought land, and commercial properties. His gang was armed with the best, biggest and the most sophisticated weapons. His name was feared throughout the Island. _ from Yahoo question http://www.khilafah.com/kcom/index.php/a… http://www.africaresource.com/rasta/seso… http://www.michaelmanley.org/

Wicked crimes against KIDS forcing them to worship your GOD | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 03:59:00

JAMAICA IS hardly the idyllic place advertised to tourists if we consider the religious indoctrination children, especially those from minority cultures and faiths, are often subjected to as they pursue their education in publicly funded institutions. I want to remind ALL Jamaicans - especially educators and school administrators - that a child has a right to freedom of religion. These rights are set out in Section 17(4) of the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms which states: "No person attending any place of education, except with his own consent (or, if he is a minor, the consent of his parent or guardian) shall be required to receive religious instruction, or to take part in or attend any religious ceremony or observance, which relates to a religion or religious body or denomination other than his own." Section 2(e) of the Child Care and Protection Act 2004, which stipulates that people, including teachers, should act in the best interest of the child by considering their religious and spiritual views; and Article 30 of the Convention of the Rights of the Child which places an obligation on Jamaica to respect their right to freedom of religion because a child should "not be denied the right … to enjoy his or her own culture, to profess and practise his or her own religion". All children, including those from Hindu, Chinese, Jewish, and Muslim-practising families, must grow up in a Jamaica where they feel belonged and free to participate. After all, they are no less Jamaican than the school chaplain. Why should children be forced to participate in devotions - to pray to your God? Some schools will allow you to be 'excused', but most people . http://jamaica-gleaner.com/gleaner/20130516/cleisure/cleisure3.html#.UZTbfQtD-JQ.facebook

 Malcolm X Speaks NOW | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 03:54:00

ACHIEVEMENTS In December 1953, a little more than a year after he was paroled from prison, Malcolm was named the minister at the NOI's Boston mosque, Temple No. 11. The following year he also became the minister at Temple No. 12 (Philadelphia) and Temple No. 7 (New York). Muhammad Speaks, the NOI newspaper, was founded by Malcolm in 1957. Beginning in the 1960s, Malcolm was invited to participate in numerous debates, including forums on radio stations (Los Angeles, New York, Washington), television programs ("Open Mind," "The Mike Wallace News Program") and universities (Harvard Law School, Howard University, Columbia University). In 1963, the New York Times reported that Malcolm X was the second most sought after speaker in the United States. On June 29, 1963 Malcolm lead the Unity Rally in Harlem. It was one of the nations largest civil rights events. After befriending and ministering to boxer Cassius Clay, the boxer decides to convert to the Muslim religion and join the Nation of Islam. In February 1964, Clay announces he has changed his name to Muhammad Ali. In March 1964, after his split with the NOI, Malcolm forms the Muslim Mosque, Inc. Several months later, he also organizes the Organizations of Afro-American Unity (OAAU). Malcolm's autobiography, which he worked on for two years with writer Alex Haley, was published in November 1965. http://www.malcolmx.com/about/achievements.html
