Friday night we were able to attend the US premiere of Gundam Unicorn shown at the glorious Viz Cinema located in the heart of Japan town San Francisco. Twas a great night, and was a great premiere. Halo shorts, equates to well Halo Legends. A relatively cheap blu-ray movie out there now in the vein of the Halo universe. If you like Halo, if you like the universe, then you'll love this movie. Our second movie in our 3 part Shinkai Day Extravaganza! This is Shinkai's very first film that could be considered truly a work. He actually had a team and a budget thus making this far more polished then Voices of a Distant Star. Voice quality is much, much better here. As usual enjoy! We got a first look of this Gurren Lagann OVA at AX 2009 however this time we were actually able to watch the movie in the comfort of a pretty classy theater. The VIZ Theater to be exact, located in the heart of Japan Town in San Francisco, California. We get around to watching this short, independent anime done by a single Japanese well guy.
