November 5, 2021 -Season 12, Episode 45 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns as well on the heels of them now parting ways with wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.After talking about the Browns situation briefly, Alex and I move on to talk about the Steelers Thursday injury report and the way it might ultimately shake out come Monday night. We also quickly go over the Chicago Bears injury report that includes three key players not practicing on Thursday.On Thursday, two of the Steelers coordinators, Matt Canada and Keith Butler, both talked to the media so as usual, Alex and I recap all the main talking points that came out of those two media sessions. We spend a lot of time talking about what Butler had to see about a few defensive players. Canada did not say much on Thursday, but Alex and I do find a few small things to discuss.Former Steelers outside linebacker Melvin Ingram met the media on Thursday for the first time since he was traded so Alex and I recap a few things he had to say. We also discuss comments made on Thursday by the Browns special teams coordinator related to the fake field goal the Steelers ran on Sunday. Alex and I give more thoughts on that fake field decision after watching the all-22 version of it.The Steelers will play the Bears on Monday night so ahead of that primetime contest Alex and I welcome back to the show Eric Edholm of Yahoo Sports. Eric has closely followed the Bears for years, so we get his thoughts on the team ahead of them playing the Steelers on Monday night. In this Wednesday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about all that has transpired with the Pittsburgh Steelers so far this week as the team prepares to play the Chicago Bears on Monday night.The Steelers traded away outside linebacker Melvin Ingram to the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday, so Alex and I spend the early part of this show discussing that move from several different angles.The Steelers also had a few other roster moves on Tuesday so Alex and I make sure to recap those at the start of this show.Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin met the media on Tuesday and so Alex spend a lot of time in the middle of this show reviewing all that he had to say. We talk injury outlook for the Steelers as part of this and much, much more.Tomlin hit on quite a few very interesting topics. We discuss the Steelers team at 4-3 and what our updated outlook is moving forward into the next several weeks. November 1, 2021 - Season 12, Episode 43 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers injury situation coming out of the team’s Week 8 Sunday afternoon win against the Cleveland Browns. We talk about the players who were injured on Sunday and the ones who missed the game with injuries as well. We also go over the inactives ahead of that contest.The Steelers are now 4-3 after Sunday’s road AFC North win so Alex and I start the breakdown of the game. We go over what we observed overall in the game before focusing specifically on the offensive and defensive play. We go over big plays, missed plays, some play calls as well as some snap count totals from the Sunday game.Alex and I make sure to spend extra time on the fake field goal that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin decided to run right before halftime. We also discuss run success rates quite a bit in this show as well and a few specific runs by rookie running back Najee Harris. The Steelers young tight ends, Pat Freiermuth and Zach Gentry, are talked about for good reason following the Sunday win and we also make sure to talk thoroughly about how the Steelers decided to let the matchup between Browns defssevive end Myles Garrett and rookie tackle Dan Moore Jr. play out.We go over a few notable things that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had to see following the team’s Sunday road win. The Steelers run defense was phenomenal on Sunday so Alex and I talk some about that and also make sure to recap that the Browns offense left a few plays on the field during that contest as well.The AFC North division was shaken up a little on Sunday, so Alex and I discuss that topic briefly. We talk some about how there is now a very legitimate possibility that the Steelers get to 6-3 before playing the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11 and what that would mean if they could do just that.As usual we finish this show out by tying up some loose ends before diving into answering several emails that we received from listeners since the Sunday night game ended.
