In this Monday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers injury situation coming out of the team’s Week 3 Sunday home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. We talk about the players who were injured during the game on Sunday and the ones who missed the game with injuries as well.The Steelers are now 1-2 after Sunday’s loss to the Raiders so Alex and I start the breakdown of the game by first focusing on what went wrong on defense. We talk about the big plays allowed and how no pressure was given to Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. We also talk about how few of plays the Bengals ran compared to the Steelers.We then move over to the offensive side of the football and talk about the play of Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Sunday., We go over the play of running back Najee Harris and the offensive line as well. Alex highlights what head coach Mike Tomlin said ahead of Sunday’s game and how he went against that on Sunday.Alex and I go over plenty of stats and talk offensive scheme. We discuss ways the Steelers might try to get their offense slightly better moving forward.We discuss several other key moments from the Steelers Sunday Week 3 loss to the Bengals and that includes time management, the late 4th and 10 play and the timeout called late in the first half.Is there a reason to be optimistic about the Steelers heading into their Week 4 game against the Green Bay Packers? September 24, 2021 - Season 12, Episode 27 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers injury report heading into Friday. It’s full of questionable players so we do our best at predicting how Sunday will shake out for each of them.The Steelers had several media sessions on Thursday and those included coordinators Keith Butler and Matt Canada. Alex and I hit on the main talking points from both coaches. We also go over a few things said on Thursday by outside linebacker Melvin Ingram and defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs ahead of the Steelers Sunday Week 3 home game against the Cincinnati Bengals.We talk some about what we expect to see out of Buggs and possibly outside linebacker Jamir Jones on Sunday against the Bengals.With the Steelers Week 3 game forthcoming, Alex and I dive deep into our final breakdowns of that contest against the Bengals. We talk about the best way to defend the Bengals offense and especially quarterback Joe Burrow. In this Wednesday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about all that has transpired with the Pittsburgh Steelers the last 48 hours and that includes a look at the transactions the team as made and the long list of injuries they are also now dealing with.We go over the health update that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin provided on Tuesday and start looking ahead at what the team’s first injury report of Week 3 might look like when it gets released Wednesday after practice.Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger took a beating on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders so we discuss that and his play in the game.Tomlin talked on Tuesday so Alex and I go over all the main talking points to come out of that weekly session.We go over what Steelers tackle Zach Banner said during his Tuesday radio show and that includes his thoughts on the running game failures and Roethlisberger not getting helped off the ground on Sunday.Alex and I are pleased to welcome back to the show the great Paul Dehner Jr. from The Athletic. In this Monday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers injury situation coming out of the team’s Week 2 Sunday home loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. We talk about the players who were injured during the game on Sunday and the ones who missed the game with injuries as well.The Steelers are now 1-1 after Sunday’s loss to the Raiders so Alex and I start the breakdown of the game by focusing on what went wrong on offense. We talk about the lack of a running game and the inability of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to connect deep and how he avoided the middle of the field.We make sure to talk about the 4th and 1 decision that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin made in the fourth quarter against the Raiders in addition to talking about guard Trai Turner getting disqualified for spitting.
