In this Monday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday that ended in a tie.Alex and I cover the lead up to the Sunday game from Saturday evening and on and that means we discuss the news about Ben Roethlisberger being placed on the COVID-19 list and how that led to quarterback Mason Rudolph needing start against the Lions.Alex and I go over the pregame inactive list and the injuries the team suffered on Sunday before deep diving into what happened at Heinz Field against the Lions.As usual, Alex and I fully breakdown the Steelers game. We go over the good and bad on both sides of the football, discuss several key plays and individual performances. There’s a lot to cover in the middle of this show and a lot of it is unfortunately negative in nature.We wrap up the show by providing some breaking news on injury updates and then get to answering questions from our listeners.

November 12, 2021 - Season 12, Episode 49 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Thursday night game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Miami Dolphins and how the result of it puts the Pittsburgh Steelers in position to be the new AFC North leaders come Monday morning.Alex and I start by going over the Steelers injury report that was released on Thursday. We also then proceed to go over the Thursday comments made by coordinators Matt Canada and Kevin Butler during their weekly media sessions.The Steelers will host the 0-8 Detroit Lions on Sunday at Heinz Field, so Alex and I welcome Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press back to the show again. Dave spends almost 30 minutes with us and helps us preview the Sunday game between the Lions and the Steelers on both sides of the football. We talk about the Lions 0-8 start and much more. In this Wednesday show, Alex Kozora and I get right back after it again talking more about the Pittsburgh Steelers Monday night home win against the Chicago Bears.Alex and I start by going over the latest injury updates that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin provided on Tuesday. we discuss if wide receiver Chase Claypool might miss practice time this week and more. We also go over comments made by Tomlin about the play of the offensive line Monday night, running back Anthony McFarland Jr. being inactive and if wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud will remain the team’s returner.Tomlin gave us a few other topics to chew on on Tuesday, so Alex and I do just that.After recapping the steelers Monday night win against the Bears on Tuesday, Alex and I discuss it even more now that we have had a chance to go through the all-22 tape from that contest. We spend time talking a lot about defensive play Monday night before shifting over to talk more about the offensive play.Alex and I then tie up a few loose ends before wrapping this show up and then we get to answering several emails we have received from listeners since the Monday night game concluded.

November 9, 2021 - Season 12, Episode 47 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Tuesday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers Monday night home win against the Chicago Bears, which turned out to be quite a wacky game.The Steelers pregame moves are discussed early in this show and that forces to talk briefly about running back Anthony McFarland Jr. and if there should be any concern that he didn’t get a helmet Monday night against the Bears. We also talk about the health of the team coming out of the Monday night game.As you would expect us to do, Alex and I methodically go through the Monday night game from start to finish. We talk about the good, the bad and the ugly for both teams as we move through our recap of the game.Several individual performances of players are discussed in this show, and we even talk a little about the play of Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields.Officiating played a huge part in the Monday night game, so Alex and I discuss several key penalties in the game. That includes us talking about the taunting penalty that Bears outside linebacker Cassius Marsh received later in the fourth quarter that served as a huge turning point in the game. We discuss the taunting rule as a whole.Alex and I then tie up a few loose ends before wrapping this show up a bit early so we can get ready to cover the Tuesday Mike Tomlin press conference.

In this Monday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers as they get ready to face the Chicago Bears on Monday Night football.Alex and I start by going over the Steelers injury report that was released on Saturday. we speculate about what the Monday night inactive list might look like and if there will be any activations from the practice squad ahead of the Week 9 contest against the bears.Alex and I also look at the injury situation the Bears are dealing with as of Saturday.There was an interesting report concerning the Steelers having trade interest in Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox ahead of the trade deadline that passed on Tuesday, so Alex and I spend some time talking about that subject.With the Steelers set to play the bears Monday night, Alex and I fully preview that game from every angle. We talk both offenses and defenses and much, much more as part of our pregame preview.Alex and I then predict the score outcome of the Monday night game and both of us having the Steelers winning.Before closing out this Monday morning show, Alex and I recap the crazy Week 9 Sunday action in the NFL and that includes updating the AFC North picture heading into Monday night.
