Irreligiosophy
Summary: Irreligiosophy means “the wisdom of irreligion” — it is about questioning dogmas handed down uncritically to us and researching into the history, practice, and theology of various religions. It’s about scrutinizing religious claims with a skeptical eye and placing them in historical perspective. But ultimately, Irreligiosophy 2.0 is really about arming atheists to wage the culture war with arguments and reason. We focus on Christianity because that is the religion that we are most confronted by in our daily lives, but we see all religion and all irrationality as threats to the continued advancement of knowledge, progress, and social justice.

Another gem from the stable of Pureflix, producers of such hits as "God's Not Dead" and "God's Not Dead 2."
More skunk dicks and more US founding fathers than you can shake a stick at. This time starring George Washington and Alexander Hamilton.
Wherein we discuss the US "Founding Fathers," and to provide some background, we give a brief overview of the Enlightenment as well. Need some ammo against Christians who portray the founders of the US government as evangelicals? Ever been told that the US is a “Christian nation?” This podcast is for you.
We talk about one of the darkest times in Mormon history, when federal troops were on the march to replace Brigham Young as governor, Apostle Parley Pratt had just been murdered, and Mormons everywhere were preparing for war. Against this backdrop, a group of 140 emigrants were making their way from Arkansas to California when they were set upon by Mormons and slaughtered wholesale on the command of their local leaders.
This episode appears to be highlights from the previous year. Or something. Ask Matt.
No, it's not over. We return to Acts to finish the job we started last episode, which basically means following Paul around the Mediterranean while he literally bores people to death.
For every single one of you who pleaded that we never do another Bible study episode, please enjoy this Bible study episode about Acts.
Curious who most made a skunk dick out of themselves in 2014? Who smelled the worst? How much of 2014 Chuck can remember? All this and more in this skunky episode.
Once more we enter the realm of crappy stop-motion animated holiday movies, this time with the origin story of Santa Claus, played extra-creepily by Mickey Rooney.
We tackle the latest in a long series of stupid Christian apologetics, presuppositionalism. Since Sye Ten Bruggencate chickened out on my multiple debate requests, I debate audio clips of him instead, which as it turns out, is pretty much the same thing.
Here we have our Halloween episode, this time inexplicably released *before* the holiday. It's about the movie Annabelle, a doll who is possessed by a cultist named Annabelle or maybe by the demon who possessed the cultist named Annabelle, I don't know, I'm not an expert on this stuff like the Warrens. You may not be surprised to learn everything about his movie is even more fictional than your typical "based on a true story" fare. I mean, it's the Warrens. Come on.
Never let it be said that Irreligiosophy refuses to tread in dangerous waters. Here we tackle the recent and not so recent problems the atheist movement has had grappling with feminist issues, specifically some of our most prominent thought-leaders, Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, and Michael Shermer. Guest starring Leela Moses!
Part II of our critique of one of the finest pieces of Christian cinema that Christian cinema has to offer.
We review a Christian "film" that puts a Christian freshman against a philosophy professor in the battle of his intellectual life. You might be surprised to discover that stereotypes, logical errors, and bad acting are the true stars.
Ginsburg tells it like it is: the majority's decision is fraught with illogic, poor interpretation of the law, and pro-corporate judicial activism.
