The day of the "fall back" time change in North America. Its 5pm and dark outside already. I love this time of year. Absolutely love it. Actually, we're getting close to the time of year that I work on RSA by candle light. Not because I'm goth, but because the soft light is easy on my old eyes! So while the wort of the cold/flu or whatever it is I had is long gone, a nice dry tickling cough is lingering, making finishing the show more work than usual. Its only annoying because I have to take twice as long as normal recording my little bits. But hopefully I've gotten the usual winter ick out of the way and we keep to schedule. I always try for 50 shows a year, but the past couple of years we've managed 51. Lets hope this year keeps that track record! Well, I'm through the "deathly ill" portion of my usual fall cold, and now I'm just like "Alright, lets get back to 100% already!" But it'll take a few more days. Luckily I was able to get the work intensive parts of RSA done before I felt really bad, and now that I'm on the mend its easy to get stuff finished. No poolside inspiration for me this week, but more of a "clean out the inbox with some tracks that have been seriously overlooked" show. One thing that always amazes me is when I have a track picked out for a live set, play with it a bit, and place it "there", then I'll do an RSA where I'm honestly trying to mix 8 random songs that are only similar because my ear picked them out on the same day.
