This week we veer more towards the harsher, aggressive side of modern EBM. I love the well done stuff as much as the bouncy synthy stuff, but I don't always get a chance to feature it! Also I've started the serious work of putting the best of show for 2018 together, and we've only got 2 more weeks of eligibility for this year. Its such a hard life I lead, having to listen to my own shows, soaking in countless hours of great electronic music, and cherry picking the really great stuff. Though I'll admit I do miss my weekend riding and dread having to break the trainer out soon... What started out as a mental observation that I've been listening to Jean-Luc De Meyer doing vocals in various different projects *other* than Front 242 for nearly 30 years has turned into a theme show. Its a strange weekend at RSA central as we're past the Canadian Thanksgiving, but the American version is yet to come, and Christmas is well off. However when your family spends its winter in Florida, you have to combine holidays and get them in before your parents are gone for 6 months! Today was one of those days where I was super motivated to be working on RSA and my own computing hobbies in general. One of the problems with being an IT drone is that after spending 8+ hours in front of a computer for work, the idea of spending more time in front of another can sometimes be... meh. Man, what a difference a week makes! Last weekend while I was finishing this show I had to strategically turn the AC off to record bits, and then turn it back on for a respite from the heat and humidity.
