Despite the views of some in political office, abortion is not an aspect of health care. In fact, this destructive and violent act does not even deserve the name “Medical procedure.”

Both the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times ran key stories recently about abortion in the African American community. They mentioned a billboard campaign arising out of Georgia that asserts that Black babies are an endangered species, because abortion is killing them at a disproportionate level.

A growing number of states have introduced bills or ballot measures declaring the unborn child to be a person. In some places, there is strong support for these measures both in the legislature and among the people.

The best response to the ongoing health care reform issue in our country is to prepare for the November elections. When office holders refuse to carry out the will of the people then the people should refuse to extend their stay in office.

If we read the letters of St. Paul in the order in which they were written, we see that Paul displays an increasing awareness of his sinfulness as life goes on.

A Florida abortionist has lost his medical license, in part because of a botched abortion in which he inadequately dilated a patient's cervix, then ruptured her uterus and shoved the unborn child's body into the abdominal cavity.

It has happened again. A woman walked into a so-called “safe and legal” abortion clinic, and ended up dying along with her baby. This tragedy occurred in Jackson Heights, New York City.

Whenever the pro-life movement is successful at getting its message to the public, the reaction of pro-abortion groups is predictable. They whine and complain.
