Cthulhu's Den
Summary: We are a group of friends who enjoy playing tabletop games and always have a blast doing so. With that in mind, we decided to share our love of Dungeons and Dragons and the laughter while playing with the world and start a podcast. New episodes every Friday. episode 5!
Tristan breaks a family of yetis, and the party hires more kobolds, perhaps this foreshadows a kobold uprising?
It's been a long time, life has been hectic but we have been recording episode after episode as we play each week we can. Be ready for random days of episodes and more to come.
This long awaited episode is the second installment of our new adventure and a bit more information on our players and their personalities as they traverse the deadly winters of Ten Towns.
The start of a new Campaign and lots of fun and laughs along the way, you know, instead of the horror setting it is supposed to be.
We finally complete a campaign! It's ok to cry tears of joy now.
Here the party gets together in the town of Vilaki and gathers their wits and armor to assault the castle of Strahd! Magicae takes on a few levels in fighter and John makes some amazing weapons and armor for everyone to wear/use.
We're back after our holiday break we forgot to warn you all about and this week our heroes set off to find the final item in their quest to destroy Strahd: the Tome of Strahd. Alistair becomes a T-Rex because why not and Connor learns a valuable lesson about making sound effects. They also make a new ally in their quest against the vampire and meet one of the most insane people in Barovia.
This week since we had a limited party, its a f*ck around episode, so enjoy our heightened shenanigans, singing and other random nonsense. So sit back, relax and enjoy this sh*tshow.
We're back after an impromptu Thanksgiving break with the party hunting down the Mad Mage that was rumored to be wandering around the foothills of Mount Baratok. After a rather violent intervention for the mage, they manage to cure him of his madness and get some knowledge, Magicae gets a book and Ssolarian gets his own fancy stick to match Magicae's....and learns how to make more.
This week we're back in Barovia as we push to finish Curse of Strahd. The party heads off in search of the Gulthias tree so Ssolarian can get a fancy stick like Magicae's. Once they arrive at the location of the tree, Strahd shows up to "test" the party for a worthy successor....which goes about as well as you'd expect.
Part Rwo of the Connor Is in Quarantine So We Had to Do Something else so We Decided to Start Icewind Dale as Preview of the Next Campaign Before We Go Back and Finish Up Curse of Strahd!
We're back this week and switching things up a bit since Connor has been on quarantine, yay pandemics. This week the group delves into the Rime of the Frostmaiden adventure. I promise we will actually finish a campaign, just think of this as sneak preview into our next adventure. Anyways, this week, we meet out new ragtag group of misfits, who get to play detective and track down a killer....and end up getting sidetracked by alcohol because of course they do.
Well, they finally did it, they broke the DM in this episode. This week, our heroes head off for a fancy dinner party with Strahd, and after a derailing conversation that kept returning (because Hugo Weaving is in everything), the party decides to accept a quest from their vamp host to remove the burgomaster of Vallaki. Magicae manages to convince the burgomaster to see him late at night, warning him that someone is trying to kill him, while Ssolarian takes the stealthy approach, proving to be said someone. Oh, and he found a magic sword in the attic and the technically new burgomaster trying to magic himself out of Barovia.
