This week we had to start out addressing the terrible things that some people have been through previously. We all need to be better to each other as humans in general and we also can't continue to watch bad things happen as say nothing. As a society we need to come together to make sure we improve. We also have iron banner coming which brought up the weapon re-issue problem which was the main fear of weapon sunsetting. We had to talk about the awesome work that GCX is doing, as of writing this description they are nearly at 5 million raised this year for St. Judes who does amazing things. We have been getting more mods which do allow some fun builds as well. It was one heck of a week in the world of Destiny. We are joined by an awesome guest, Home of the Vibes uhmaayyze.  We got the reveal for the year 4 expansion, Beyond Light. We have a new planet to visit, Europa. We have a new element in the game stasis. And we also got new of future expansions, The Witch Queen in 2021, and Lightfall in 2022. We totally forgot about the crashing of the Almighty, it was a heck of a week but that was cool to watch on saturday. Trials is broken this weekend, the flawless chest / Lighthouse is having error codes as well. We also got the launch of Season of Arrivals. This week we discussed some backlog games that we were working through during these quieter times in Destiny 2. Nioh 2, Inside, FF7 Remake and The Last of Us have been making their way through our devices. Back to Destiny 2 we have the Almighty Enemy ship now visible in the atmosphere, but it isn't moving as fast as I think it should. There are many more factors in space that could affect it but it should be here soon as the season wrap up is coming to and end. This week we finally got our hands on the Felwinter's Lie Shotgun, but the journey was a bumpy road. The quest got bugged at the worst moment when the community was just gathering steam to finish it. The bug did get fixed this week and we now have the shotgun. The lore behind the quest and that come with kills with the gun is a cool history behind Rasputin. Its a great read if you have time. We then dive into the World Loot Pool, which seems to be taking the Legendary Engram and making it the universal weapon pool. Armor will still come from the activities, but weapons seem to be available everywhere. Seems odd but we shall see. The weapon balancing for reload perks is to bring the perks down to hopefully make space for new perks, again time will tell.  Sunsetting is a divisive issue and we dive into that as well. Enjoy. This week we got a new quest called "The Lie" to start wrapping up Season of the Worthy. We needed to do 9 million Seraph Tower Public Events, 3 million on each EDZ, IO & the Moon. I didn't take long for many to point out that our pace wasn't going to allow us to finish in time.  Bungie made the events easier and added a 5x during the week and 10x multiplier to help us speed this process along. Either the math was originally done wrong or they overestimated how many would want to do it, either way it hit the community at a bad time after lots of grinding this season. We also got a juicy twab that opened up some clarity on Weapon Sunsetting, what weapons we would be saying goodbye to and when and how this would work going forward. The community was somewhat divided on this issue but we took a deep dive about what it could all mean. They also clarified how Seasonal gear would be rewarded in Season 11 [redacted] engrams and our ability to focus those engrams towards what we would like to ear and the fact we could earn those throughout the entire game. This week we had cbgray join us on the podcast and got to know his history of Destiny and his journey as a content creator. We got his take on top raids and moments of the franchise as well. We discussed the TWAB for May 8th which had Luke Smith talking about changes coming in Year 4 and Season 12 and beyond. Rewards will be improving. Vanity or Cosmetics will be spread more into game activities and less in Eververse. Aspirational content will have new armor tied to the activity each year. Core activities will be getting new armor and weapons as well in Year 4 and beyond. Many good things are coming next year, and while Season 11 is nearly in motion already, the fall looks very promising. This week we first discussed a bit more about Guardian Games, the data we received in the TWAB with regards to what people thought was some type of cheating to allow Titans to keep winning every day. Hardlight got a bit of a change, but the catalyst keeps it a bit more viable still. They also talked more about changes coming in year 4 of Destiny 2. Seasons will stay as the model but content will stick around longer. Currencies might be seasonal but activities, quests & even some rewards will be available for longer times and wider places. Bounties have received a lot of flack recently for being the main focus of the game and they want to work on changing that. It's not exactly clear how it would happen but only time will tell. Season 13 (think Dec 2020) we might get to see bounty pick up in orbit. Next week they will be discussing Eververse which more and more is getting on everyone's nerves. You can find us here. He is the the Lore Professor of Destiny 2 and we got to go deep into many topics with him, past, present and future for the story of Destiny. Next we get into the status of Trials.  Tokens have made some issues arise, Flawless Loot feels lacking and could use some changes as well. Cheating is an issue as well and went deeper into acknowledging which cheats they are seeing on both PC and console, and some fixes they can't fully explain to not help the cheaters. Finally we discussed the Seasonal model, how it works but isn't perfect and can still improve as we move forward. This week we got started talking about the IO bunker reveal and the Zavala cut scene we got as a Bunker Clear. Zavala talked with Rasputin a bit more openly than usual and we get a projection and wall lights showing the looming pyramid ships coming close.
