This week we have an awesome Artist in the Destiny Community, Brian Moncus art of https://www.brianmoncusart.com/.  We first discussed his journey as an artist and how he has grown to be one of the key Destiny Artists in this community. Then we spoke out the journey to The Fourth Horseman new exotic Shotgun. The trailer dropped to spoil any possible surprise, and then we got to the quest. It was rather grindy but its really tough to ask for epic exotic quests ALL the time from Bungie as they are stretched fairly thin. Do you want less quality or more filler content, its a tough call. After that we got into the discussion of where Trials of Osiris is at and thoughts about its various rewards, errors and so forth. Iron Banner comes next week but we don't have much more than a couple new bunkers in the coming weeks. This week we were joined by a great guest and pretty hardcore Destiny player, Bobizard13 who is the other half of the great YT couple of LaurenZSide. We discussed the new Season of the Worthy Trailer, the Season 10 story with Rasputin possibly saving us from the Kamikaze Almighty ship, and arming of the Warmind. New PvE activity include new Seraph Tower Public Events, Seraph Bunkers and even Legendary Lost Sectors. Later in the Season we will see changes to Pinnacle Gear drops as we get ready for Grand Master Ordeals as a new Endgame Pursuit. Trials of Osiris Returns for PvP as the pinnacle activity, 3v3 Elim and Lighthouse Visits to match. Lots of Exotic Armor changes are coming along with a new power level of 1000/1010 for Powerful/Pinnacle Respectively. This week we had so much news drop for what is coming in Destiny 2. Fractaline Donations were finished, we lit the beacon on Mercury and Trials of Osiris teaser trailer dropped about 10pm at night. 3v3 Elim Trials Connection based & card state match making, and through community feedback Artifact Power Level will NOT Affect PVP. Lots of positives here, the main thing needs to be good rewards and hopefully quick action on cheating. Then we get into the Director's Cut for Feb 2020 from Luke Smith. He discussed the changes they want to make for Seasons in Year 4 and the game world. And then of course the big topic is Retiring Weapons in Destiny and how long is the expriation date, and should exotics ever be included. Finally we cover sandbox changes about coming up for Season 10. Melee abilities and a few subclasses are getting reworked. This week was a great episode. First we discussed the new cinematic to tease Season of the Worthy where Osiris squared off with Rasputin on Mars. We aren't sure what is coming next or where the story is going. Next we covered the MAJOR sandbox changes coming with Season 10. Lots of changes coming to Izanagi's, Snipers, Grenade Launchers, Shotguns, Fusion Rifles, The Last Word Hand Cannon and more. Should be an interesting season..... THEN the debate started. We are in our third year of Destiny right now looking at the fourth coming up. I (Ebontis) am thinking some things need retired and Cognito would only see a "Destiny 3" as the time to start fresh. This week we had Paul Tassi from Forbes join us on our podcast to discuss the current investing / donating going on in the Empyrean Restoration Community Effort. This week LordCognito and Ebontis discussed the issues that happened with Patch 2.7.1, may people losing valuable currencies upon logging in on Tues, the rollback of data to save what was lost and the quality of their IT team and back-ups to be this on top of it. The Corridors of Time have been solves, and the whole community was about to contribute in small or large parts. We got a couple of gentlemen who were deep in the mix of getting this thing solved. Art Teams, Data miners, Streamers as figures to join for images. So many cogs in this machine, and Zycore and AetherLore were some pretty important parts to it. We got to hear from them about how they got into helping solve this thing. Some cool facts about the scale of the puzzle, the number of images that were received, and the struggles during the solving that they faced. This was a huge community moment and a great puzzle to solve. We also have the reward to discuss and we had some opinions about that and the fact it was a known an entity on the calendar and ended up being the reward.  I hope you enjoy this one. This week the community dove head first into the Puzzle in the Corridors of Time which phase 1 alone took 19 hours to complete. After that we now are into part two, which sees everyone in the community submitting their final image of phase 1 to build a giant map of some kind to find the end game of the puzzle. I wonder if the community may be going too far or building puzzle as opposed to solving it. This is the last episode of 2019 and we see where we feel a couple weeks into the season. This week we have a LOT to discuss regarding all the information about Season of Dawn (Season 9).  We also have an awesome guest @TeasingTeddy who is a pretty hard core triumph score collector and overall nice guy. The reveal trailer was sick with both Osiris returning and Saint-14 a main character for this season. We then get into our thoughts about the stream which is exciting for the lore implications but a bit abrupt at the end. The Sundial 6-person activity looks similar to Menagerie just on Mercury but we didn't get to see much of it. We had a couple quest and armor 2.0 tangents but they needed to be said. This week Lord Cognito and I discuss the New(ish) activity Vex Offensive Final Assault. Not much changed this time and we have some ideas how it could have been better. We don't know everything about how the season will end but it could have gone better than it did. Expectations may be part of this on all ends. Then we deep dive into the new subclass changes coming to some Solar trees in Season of Dawn. Another Iron Banner is coming and Bungie's IPads for Kids program raised a ton to help move that forward. Also we have both been distracted by Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order so we had to gush about the greatness that is Star Wars, Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Metroidvania, Dark Souls.
