Insider Ways of Working With Challenging Clients | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:30:23

I would be lying to you if I said that working with everyone was a walk in the park. Some clients can be more challenging than others. That’s okay, everyone has their ways and I didn't come into business expecting an easy ride. All things considered, even if you are providing a valuable service to your clients, it is a transactional relationship, but a relationship none the less. Just like intimate or platonic relationships can have their challenges, so can relationships with clients. It's up to you as the small business owner to create those boundaries. That is where Business Coaches like Lindsay Anvik come in. Lindsay gives us the cutthroat and hard-hitting truth we need to hear as business owners.  The Entertainment Entrepreneur: Developing Your Core Audience and Master Strategic Marketing | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:30:04

The desire to speak to an Artist about entrepreneurship came from advising for a client that is in the music industry. I don’t know much about the music industry so I wanted to speak to his manager to be sure that there was a way I could help him. In getting down to the details of what he needed, it dawned on me that the element of business permeates throughout many areas of life. As consumers of music we are just entertained, however, Artist have to treat their craft as a business in order to be successful. Marketing for a product works similarly to marketing for an Artist. Of course, there are nuances for the music niche, but general principles are woven into the fabric of what it means to be a successful artist. I speak with artist Gist The Essence about his experiences as an entrepreneur, brand, Artist, Rapper or whatever you feel comfortable referring to him as. He breaks down the intricacies of building and maintain a core audience, how artist have to leverage their music to make money and the importance of preparing your marketing to gain the best opportunities. One of the ways Gist recently leveraged his music by throwing a concert that doubled as a charity drive for toys and coats. In hearing his story and understanding his work as a musician, it made me appreciate his music that much more.  What's Your Price? How to Set- up your Price Points for Profit. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:44:50

One of the elements of my businesses that was important, but challenging to navigate was setting up my prices. I needed to know how much to charge that was still a fair value, but not sell myself short. One of the challenges I encountered early came from my potential client complaining that my prices were too high. My mentor told me “Professionals sort, amateurs convince.” I had to stop convincing. In a search to restructure, I went to the professionals. Jacob Aldrige made an amazing point during our interview that I should be sorting out those individuals and uncovers exactly how to do so. When speaking with Ben McAdam, he reveals psychology related to business owners that commonly causes them to sell themselves short. Since implementing the ideas in the interview, I have seen such amazing improvements. I have also had some excellent feedback regarding how others can apply what was covered in this interview.  S1E3: CLARArity With Clara Angelina Diaz | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:09

How clear about what you want are you? My clients hate when I tell them to get clear about what they want. Essentially, they want to know why they are paying me all this money to tell them to get clear. That’s fair. The thing about getting clear though, is if you know what you want, it is a guiding light. Knowing exactly what you want will align your actions and choices to get you closer to it. It also helps to clear up the fears of not knowing what to do next. In this episode, I sit with Clara Angelia Diaz author of “Create Your Best Year One Day At A Time: A Peaceful + Poetic Inspiration Guide To What You Want Most This Year.” In this episode, we speak about identifying your true desires, the benefits of business coaching (tried and tested), and how to gain clarity on your business journey. Get clear. That is step #1. When you get clear, execution and strategy is easy.  S1E2: IAmNatNoise Q&A- Failing at Failure | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:17:15

Are you afraid of the idea of entrepreneurship? That’s not uncommon at all. I spend a great amount of time working with people to challenge their fears of failure. One of the #1 reasons people are afraid to start a business is not because of everything that could happen, but it is a lack of Clarity. When you get really clear and specific about what you want, you’re able to get a better picture of where to go next. Furthermore, failure along the way is inevitable. The sooner you can get over that, the better off you will be. In this episode, I answer all the questions I get very often about fear. I want to do another episode dedicated to specific ways to get over fear. In the meantime, I hope these answers help. Thank you so much for joining me.
