Summary: One of the elements of my businesses that was important, but challenging to navigate was setting up my prices. I needed to know how much to charge that was still a fair value, but not sell myself short. One of the challenges I encountered early came from my potential client complaining that my prices were too high. My mentor told me “Professionals sort, amateurs convince.” I had to stop convincing. In a search to restructure, I went to the professionals. Jacob Aldrige made an amazing point during our interview that I should be sorting out those individuals and uncovers exactly how to do so. When speaking with Ben McAdam, he reveals psychology related to business owners that commonly causes them to sell themselves short.
