There aren't a lot of bands who work as hard as Kentucky's Black Stone Cherry. They're relentless road dogs who, while being "as American as you can get" according to front man Chris Robertson, have found huge success in Europe...where their brand of Southern Fried Rock and Roll finds them selling out huge venues all across Europe. But, with the band rolling in to one of our favorite venues in town (Knucklehead's) we got Black Stone Cherry's Chris Robertson on the phone to catch up!

The murder of Gabby Petito, and the ensuing search for her boyfriend/ person of interest Brian Laundrie has captivated the entire country. But to get a closer look into the FBI's case, as well as the recent discovery of remains believed to be that of Laundrie, it's always best to talk to someone who knows more than a little about the process, which is why we talked to former FBI Assistant Director, Chris Swecker. Swecker served in the FBI for 24 years. He served as the FBI's on-scene Commander in Iraq, and later served as Special Agent in Charge of North Carolina Operations, where he managed the capture of the Eric Rudolph after the Centenial Olympic Park bombing, and dismantling a Hezbollah terrorist cell. He's also appeared on CNN, CNBC and Fox News....and this morning he talked to us.

We have championed Charlie Starr and the boys in Blackberry Smoke since the first time we saw them back in 2003...and over the last 20 years of the band's existence, they have built a fanatical following the world over, all without the help of having a traditional "radio hit"...which is no mean feat these days. Their newest album, "You Hear Georgia"  typifies their "too rock for country/ too country for rock" style, and sounds kick ass while doing so! And the band is bringing their tour to the Uptown Theater this Tuesday night!! We caught up with Charlie this morning to find out all about the tour and more!!

It's always a good time with NASCAR rolls back into the Kansas Speedway...though this year it's bittersweet because our old Friend of the Show, Clint Bowyer isn't driving this year...but that doesn't prevent him from being stoked about the Cup Series coming to his hometown track! The Xfinity and ARCA races are on Saturday, and the Cup Series Hollywood Casino 400 race is this Sunday!! What's gonna happen? No one knows because things always get out of control at Kansas Speedway!!!

It's one thing to strike gold with a television series...Which Billy Gardell did with the CBS series, "Mike & Molly"....but it's even more rare to do it TWICE in a row...which Billy has done with his series "Bob Hearts Abishola" (also on CBS!) But, when Billy gave us a call this morning, did he spend all of his time telling us all how successful his show is? NOPE! We talked all about life, hot rods, parenthood, teaching your kids the important things in life...and occasionally got around to mentioning the show, just to make the network happy!!

Oh sure, it's fun talkin' about rubber dicks and vaginas...but when the adult toys get weird, THAT is where the magic begins!! And buddy, both of today's toys were suitably f'ed up!!! It's The Adult Toy Price Is Right!!!!!

Barbara Noble was just driving to work in Indiana just like any other day last week when a 2x4 from a passing truck flew off, pierced her windshield and missed her head by mere inches! We caught up with her this morning to hear all about and she told us "I want people to know that this happens, and happens a lot!"....which we learned afterwards as the phone lines lit up with similar stories! Secure those loads, people!!

It's been a little while since we we've talked to our old friend Larry The Cable Guy...not only because he's one of the busiest comedians in the business (and one of the most generous, supporting numerous charitable causes)...but he was also busy appearing on the hit FOX show, The Masked Singer!! Who knew he could sing??? But we finally got our old friend on the phone, and in typical Larry fashion, it was a non-stop, hilarious ride!

This past Sunday as the Chiefs were taking a beating from the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead, another beating was taking place in the stands...and it's set the internet on fire! Seems a long running feud between a Chiefs superfan known as "X Factor" boiled over and ended up with another Chiefs fan, Tom Oreman, knocking him out...a viral video of which has well over 1 million views across the internet! We talked to Tim this morning to try and get to the bottom of this whole melee...and no doubt, this isn't the last we've heard about it!!

We've been fans of Shawn Kathleen's Instagram page "Passenger Shaming" for a few years now, because there is nothing worse than being stuck on a flight with some asshole...and in this post-pandemic world, the assholes are getting worse and worse on flights, racking up astronomical fines for their dumb ass behavior...and, thankfully, Shawn is there to help point out these jackoffs. https://www.instagram.com/passengershaming/?hl=en

It's been a hot minute since we've played a round of FMK!! For those who don't know, we give you 3 choices and you have to choose who you're gonna f**k, who you're gonna marry, and who you're gonna kill!! Unless you're a Chiefs fan...in which case, we're all f**ked.

It's unfair to say that Nikki Glaser is a "great female comedian", because she's flat out a great comedian, period....and when she's on a roll, few other comedians can match her energy. Not to mention, she's is unafraid to take things to the absolute edge of uncomfortable with some of the most honest (and f*cked up) comedy ever. And tonight she's rolling into The Uptown Theater!!

One thing in this life that you can always count on is that fact that you will ALWAYS have a good time at a Steel Panther show...and if you don't, you might be dead inside...because, not only are the band all amazing musicians who write killer songs, but their live show is one of a funniest and most fun shows you have ever seen! And this coming Friday night, they're gonna prove once again that they are one of the most entertaining bands on the road today when they roll into The Truman!! We talked to SP drummer and Friend of the Show, Stix Zadinia this morning to find out what's up in sunny Hollywood CA and what the future has in store!!
