In week 1 of our relationship series Shawn and Jill Johnson sit down with Jimmy and Irene Rollins to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to marriage. Parental discretion advised. 

Shawn wraps up our Legacy series with a message about taking small steps to accomplish lasting legacies. Shawn reminds us that legacies don't happen by accident. If we make big lofty goals we are likely to fail, but choosing to set attainable goals, and make consistent choices to achieve them will result in leaving the legacy we desire. 

Doug Wekenman, from Red Rocks Austin, brings the message for week 4 of the Legacy series. Doug speaks about the power of the legacy mentality: the constant quest to live a life that outlives you, by the power of God, for the Kingdom of God. Doug asks the powerful question 'what about your life needs to change this year?' and 'what kingdom are you building?'

For week 3 of Legacy, Shawn speaks with Lee Domingue, the Legacy Pastor from Church of the Highlands in Alabama. Lee clarifies the difference between a dynasty and a legacy, and being driven or being led. Lee's words are freeing and clarifying for those who want to partner their work outside the church with the work going on inside the church.

In week 2 of Legacy, Ronnie speaks about how legacies begin and he reminds us that if we aren't careful, we might be remembered for the things we never allowed God to heal. God wants to address what's happening IN you, not just what's happening TO you. And when we rise up in the midst of our struggles to trust God's healing work, we can leave a legacy that points to the amazing nature of our God.

For the introduction of the new series, Legacy, lead pastor Shawn Johnson begins with the basics: legacy starts with loving God, loving people, and reaching the lost. While many things in life can end up feeling void and meaningless, pouring into our relationship with God provides meaning and leaves a lasting legacy.

As we kick off 2021, Andrew Matrone speaks a powerful message about the importance of time spent in the Bible for our daily lives. Andrew reminds us that the Word of God is a guide, it defends us, and it transforms us and he shares ways that we can make reading the Bible a consistent part of our day to day life.

Shawn Johnson, lead pastor of Red Rocks Church, preaches the Christmas message and reminds us of this: as much bad news as life can bring us (especially after a year like this one), Christmas is about celebrating GOOD NEWS! More than perhaps ever before, we can relate to the participants of the Christmas story on a whole new level, and Shawn walks us through their story from a new perspective. Mary and Joseph were not strangers to interrupted plans, halted work, and chaotic life-changes. And Shawn reminds us that in the middle of our own chaos, pain, or tragedy, we can experience a supernatural joy that comes only from God. Because when Jesus arrived on the scene he brought peace, hope, joy and salvation and that's a reminder we need every year, but especially this one.

As 2020 draws to a close, Ronnie speaks through Psalm 23 and the challenges and hurdles that many of us have experienced over the past year. So often we look to God and ask 'can you get me through this?' 'could you help me make it through that?' and Ronnie challenges us to ask: is God our guide or is He our God?

In the final weekend of our Kingdom Builders series, Shawn highlights some of the amazing things that YOU, Red Rocks Church, have done this year through your generosity! Speaking out of 2 Corinthians and Luke, Shawn reminds us that our generosity is even more powerful when it's partnered with the local church!

In week 3 of Kingdom Builders, Jimmy Rollins (lead pastor of i5 City Church), speaks about the power of HOME; the home-team, the home-field advantage, the home-Church and what it's doing out in the world. There is power in a house, and Jimmy reminds us that Red Rocks Church is a house of miracles. Red Rocks Church's 'house' is now located in homes worldwide, and we each have the opportunity to be the tangible hands and feet of Jesus in our community.
