Crown Jewel Wilderness - Creating North Cascades National Park (NCNP) is the perfect book for a live podcast recording. Lauren Danner, the author, is very educated on this subject. It is obvious as she speaks, she did a bunch of homework to make this a complete book.

A strong mother, takes her four boys and one daughter out hiking or backpacking whenever she can. Her boys help her with her daughter, Story Grace, because she has chromosomal abnormalities. Treeline Review is like the NPR of gear reviews. Liz Thomas and cofounder Naomi Hudets love outdoor gear and disliked having to look at multiple places for different reviews. Instead of researching the gear item itself, Treeline researches, analyzes, and then does a meta-review of the other reviews of that item that are floating around out there in the ocean of information that is the internet.
