Young & Conservative in Hollywood – and Interview with Amanda Head – Episode 288 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:24:46

Amanda Head is host of the talk radio show The Hollywood Conservative, who has found that when talking one-on-one with people, even if they have very opposing viewpoints, the conversation is much less contentious than the mainstream media would have you believe. Amanda talks about making the choice to make a career shift from the music industry to political talk radio. She reveals how, because of her upbringing and principles, she has always been something of an outsider in Hollywood. Currently, she is working with Ted Harvey and the Committee to Defend the President as spokesperson. Also on the podcast, Chuck and Mark talk about the various sex-related scandals going through Hollywood, government and everywhere else – and how it’s going to end up hurting women. Also, they go through many examples of how the left become “experts” on topics once they hit the news, like bump stocks, climate change and much more. They reveal what unbelievable plan of action Joe Biden has suggested if you feel threatened when you’re at home. About the guest: Born and raised in the South, Amanda Head's strong conservative background is highly evident in both her professional and personal life. A Birmingham, Alabama, native, she's lived in Los Angeles since graduating with her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Auburn University. In addition to her business degree, Amanda acquired her minor in Applied Music (voice). Amanda was the first freshman ever to become Miss Auburn University, where she advocated for music as a form of therapy in schools for students with learning disabilities and in hospitals and nursing homes as therapy for the elderly. Upon graduation, she moved to California to pursue music and film. Amanda is a seasoned classical singer and has performed in such venues as the Hollywood Bowl, Ford Amphitheater and in Austin, Texas at SXSW Music Festival. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Amanda performed all over the southeast and New York, in musical theater and opera. Amanda's classical background allowed her to be vocally flexible, and, because of that, she has achieved success in many genres, notably, opera, jazz and pop. Amanda was the lead singer of an electro-pop duo whose first single charted at #36 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40. Her duo toured nationally and found notoriety for their singles “Tear Me Down” and “Strip Me Bare.” From 2006 to 2016, Amanda was bound to various music contracts which prevented her from speaking publicly about her political positions. After a great deal of consideration, in January of 2016, Amanda decided to step away from the entertainment industry. She had grown increasingly concerned with her generation’s lack of incentive to be involved in our country’s future and wanted to make a difference. Amanda’s first step was to start a video blog called The Hollywood Conservative. With her political persuasion in Los Angeles, she felt she had a niche and a unique perspective for reaching audiences nationally who also are dissatisfied with the direction our leaders are taking our country. Amanda attended CPAC in Washington, D.C., where she garnered a great deal of attention in the political media realm and was offered her own radio show on Conservative Commandos Radio in Philadelphia. Her show, The Hollywood Conservative, began airing on March 30, 2016 on WNJC AM1360 in the Philadelphia market. Not long after her show's debut, another network, Red State Talk Radio WFYL AM1180 picked up The Hollywood Conservative. Amanda also serves as a guest and fill-in host on Talkers Top 100 The John Cardillo Show on Miami's AM880 The Biz. She is a regular guest on CBC and BBC. Her guest segment "The Final 30" on Yellowhammer Radio airs weekly on Fridays in the Birmingham market. You can also catch her weekly on Mondays on the cable TV show America Trends...

An Introduction to Living Beyond 120 – an interview with Dr. Jeffrey Gladden – Episode 287 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:15:20

Dr. Jeffrey Gladden is a physician who specializes in human performance and longevity. Once specializing primarily as an interventional cardiologist, he started to realize that the current health care system was actually a sick care system. He began studying extensively about how to make people who are healthy even better, and he talks about how he now dedicates his practice, Apex Health and Human Performance, to helping people extend their lifespan and healthspan with preemptive medicine. They discuss some of the elements needed to live longer and better, but they also consider how the government doesn’t really want people to live longer lives. Mark and Dr. Gladden now host a new podcast, Living Beyond 120™, which tackles the health questions that most doctors rarely approach. These may be the keys to living a much longer life than most people have ever imagined. Learn more about the podcast and improving your healthspan at https://livingbeyond120.com/. Also on the podcast, Chuck and Mark talk about the business Crowds on Demand (see https://crowdsondemand.com/) and the way the left uses them to create the illusion of massive numbers. About the guest: Co-host of the Living Beyond 120™ podcast, Dr. Jeffrey Gladden is a board certified interventional cardiologist and founder of Apex Health and Human Performance Optimization. He did his undergraduate work at Wheaton College and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with Honors from Temple University in 1982. He has specialized in many areas of cardiology, including interventional, diagnostic, preventative and programmatic. Gladden is currently the Director of Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention and Cardiac Rehabilitation at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, which he co-founded in 2004. He is CEO Board Chair, Principle and CMO for Product Development at Scientia Cardio Access and a board member at Scientia Vascular. He is currently licensed in three states, his work is published in multiple medical journals, and he is a consultant for multiple cardiovascular projects, programs and medical device development. During his mid-fifties, things took a turn for the worse for Dr. Gladden, personally and professionally. Despite eating what he thought was a healthy diet and exercising regularly, he became very fatigued, to the point that he could hardly get out of bed. Stress and anxiety led to bouts of depression. He was getting burned out on traditional medicine, as it became more and more scripted, focused on compliance, and less about exploring creative and resourceful means of caring for patients. Much of his time and energy was spent fighting insurance companies for coverage for his patients instead of engaging with them for care. He was frustrated and discouraged but still wanted to help patients and build better programs to bring services to those who didn’t live close to a large hospital. He never lost sight of the bigger picture of democratizing access to healthcare and helping people overcome health challenges. Learn more about his practice at http://www.apexhhpo.com/.  The Regulatory Genocide of Banning DDT – an Interview with Dr. Bonner Cohen – Episode 286 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:36:45

Dr. Bonner R. Cohen is an environmental scholar and former guest who is back to talk about how the “environmental” movement to ban DDT in 226 resulted in regulatory genocide, killing millions of people. DDT was developed as a pesticide, and Rachel Carson’s book Silent Spring sparked fears that it could be a threat to wildlife, especially birds. After DDT was banned, malaria and other mosquito-carried disease spread wildly. Dr. Cohen addresses how agricultural food production has gone up, directly in relation to an increase of carbon dioxide. This increase is resulting in a greener Earth, despite what the left would have you believe. If we restrict carbon dioxide production, we restrict the ability for things to grow. They consider how a number of the left’s typical policies can be tied back to the idea of eugenics. The left wants to restrict anyone’s ability to disagree with their faulty science about what is actually good for mankind. Also on the podcast, Chuck and Mark talk about what happened when Mark went to the protest of Steve Bannon near Detroit. For some footage of the event, visit https://bluntforcetruth.com/anti-bannon-protesters-a-crowd-of-not-so-useful-idiots/. They talk about people who boycott certain products or movies because of the politics of the company or creator, such as people threatening to boycott Keurig because they advertise on Sean Hannity’s show. Chuck and Mark discuss Roy Moore and the allegations about sexual misconduct. About the guest: Bonner R. Cohen is a senior fellow at the National Center for Public Policy Research, where he concentrates on energy, natural resources, and international relations. He also serves as a senior policy adviser with the Heartland Institute, senior policy analyst with the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, and as adjunct scholar at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Articles by Dr. Cohen have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Investor's Business Daily, New York Post, Washington Times, National Review, Philadelphia Inquirer, Detroit News, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Miami Herald, and dozens of other newspapers in the U.S. and Canada. He has been interviewed on Fox News, CNN, Fox Business Channel, BBC, BBC Worldwide Television, NBC, NPR, N 24 (German language news channel), Voice of Russia, and scores of radio stations in the U.S. Dr. Cohen has testified before the U.S. Senate committees on Energy & Natural Resources and Environment & Public Works, as well as the U.S. House committees on Natural Resources and Judiciary. He has spoken at conferences in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Bangladesh. Dr. Cohen is the author of two books, The Green Wave: Environmentalism and its Consequences  and Marshall, Mao und Chiang: Die amerikanischen Vermittlungsbemuehungen im chinesischen Buergerkrieg (Marshall, Mao and Chiang: The American Mediations Effort in the Chinese Civil War). Dr. Cohen received his B.A. from the University of Georgia and his Ph.D. – summa cum laude – from the University of Munich.
