Ty Toth realized at the age of 19 that a college degree would not get anywhere close to what he wanted to achieve in life. So he got started with a career in sales and also began to invest in real estate. He became very successful in what he did and became a millionaire at 38 years old. Ty was able to travel around the world with his family but eventually realized that there were always ongoing headaches with what he was doing. There was also huge risk with the amount of capital he had to invest each time. And then in 2006, he happened to meet someone on one of his vacations that would change his life forever… and that was when he discovered network marketing. This mentor taught him what it took to be successful in MLM and Ty was able to eventually replace his previous income. Today, Ty Toth has 10 years of MLM experience and is the first person in his company to reach the rank of International Presidential Director.

He soon met his wife and moved to the north of England and then came across a newspaper ad for MLM. Simon joined, got started and as he says in his own words, “he kept going because he didn’t know how to quit.” Simon eventually went to earn over $12.5 million USD with a team of over 156,000 distributors and retired from MLM. However, he soon realized that no successful really retires and just sits at home and does nothing so Simon got back into MLM. In less than 4 years, he’s built a team of over 80,000 distributors and one of his proud achievements is that he’s helped his son create a 6 figure income in MLM as well.

Jeff Street was an entrepreneur who owned multiple Nextel Wireless stores when he first encountered his MLM mentor at a Landmark meeting. It took his mentor, 5 years of consistent follow up before Jeff finally decided to get started in network marketing. Within 3 1/2 years, Jeff earned over a million dollars in MLM. Today, Jeff has over 10 years of MLM experience and has over 10,000 distributors and even more active customers in his organization. He has won numerous awards in his company. She was raised by a single mom who passed away suddenly when she was only 14 years old. She was then raised by her grandmother and learned the value of hard work. After she grew up, Nikki was just an ordinary person who worked at various jobs. From working at a manufacturing plant for 7 years… to working on and off as a hair stylist for 27 years… and then to become a medical assistant who was living paycheck to paycheck. Her husband, Hayden joined her in the business a year later. Neither had ever thought about doing Network Marketing as they were both pursuing other careers. Emily was a massage therapist rehabbing major weight loss patients and Hayden had just finished up his pre-med degree while working toward a professional football player. Today we are going to get a valuable history lesson of the MLM profession and learn from the founders of Networking Times magazine, Chris and Josephine Gross! Chris Gross is CEO of Gabriel Media Group and cofounder of Networking Times. With a background in building, real estate, mortgage brokerage, finance, and telecommunications, Chris operated a public company in the nineties, called Consolidated Publishing Group, Inc., which sold and delivered millions of training tools (magazines, books, audio programs, etc.) to network marketers. This company acquired MLM Publishing Group, Inc that published Upline®. In 2001, Chris formed Gabriel Media Group, Inc. and with his wife, Dr. Josephine Gross, cofounded and launched Networking Times magazine, a professional, advertising-free, newsstand educational journal, and Networking University (an online professional certification/educational program). In 2012 Chris joined the board of the Association of Network Marketing Professionals (www.ANMP.com) and in 2013 he became the ANMP’s Vice President. Chris has been a spokesperson for the networking profession at numerous national and international conventions. His favorite speaking topics include The history of network marketing and How to build belief in the network marketing profession, within the direct selling space as well as with the general public. His wife, Josephine is not just the co-founder but the Editor in Chief of Networking Times magazine.
