Halloween 2020 is upon us in Pokemon GO, and it’s a banging event so far. We got Raids, spawns, double candy, cool costumes, and Mega Gengar to top it off. We got a whole new type of Egg, and as egg-spected, there is some controvery about what is hatching out of them. We break down these new Rocket Eggs and talk about the good and the bad with this new system. Also, some big changes to the way Mega Pokemon work came this week. Niantic makes a quick correction to Mega Raids by giving more Mega Energy, and reduce the rates to Mega Evolve the second time. Plus a whole month’s worth of events centered around Mega Evolutions. Will this be enough to repair the bad PR around Mega Evolutions? What can we all learn from these events? Why does a sea captain appear on this podcast?
