The Rob and Joe Show

The music quiz from the previous episode was so well-received, Rob and Joe discuss how and when to do it again. Joe appears to get insufficient respect from other shows on the network. Rob and Joe express serious concerns about Robby's upcoming interview. Rob worries about attendance for his gig in Dayton due to the unfortunate scheduling. Rob pitches a far-fetched scheme to beat the high profile Billion $ Bracket Challenge. Rob's girlfriend is convinced mermaids are real. Joe is puzzled by the Malaysian Prime Minister's recent press conference and apparent new developments in geography. Rob criticizes the premise of a new theatrical release and questions Joe about some of his quirks. Rob gets blindsides with another scolding by his girlfriend. Joe is identified by a fan while on vacation. Rob convinces Joe to audition for a reality show. Not quite as battle-scarred as Rob, Joe is already regretting his decision to run a comedy competition. Robby gets snubbed by a fan. Joe's "quirky coworker" joins the show to display his stunning lack of music knowledge in game show format. Rob and Joe compete to cast the worst lead duo for the next season of HBO's True Detective. Rob's new favorite reality show inspires another challenge. Aired Live Monday, March 17th at 7:30PM

Joe gets grief about his Facebook photo. Rob and Joe discover that the Drafts and Laughs promoters have committed them to more than just telling jokes. Beer Week talk leads to Rob pondering the logic of a television commercial. Rob's contribution to a crew team fundraiser is seemingly inconsequential. Joe is embarrassed when Rob tests his improvisational abilities with an example from a recent show. Potentially terrible baby names get debated. A theory is considered that women, by nature, resist TV and movies recommendations from their men. In typical fashion, Joe gives advice to comedy newcomers. Commenting on a man's shoes, Joe ironically puts his foot in his mouth. Rob's comedy gets some exposure on NPR, but in a vaguely insulting way. Robby gets chastised for his conduct relating to a recent date. Rob deals with a very disruptive person during a show; oddly it's a member of the wait staff. His evening only gets worse. Michael Chamberlin joins the show to review the Oscars, discuss career, favorite gays and give Joe tips on living alone. Rob introduces a fun new game. Rob lists for his girlfriend the friends it would be okay to date if he were to fall into a coma. Joe has a great day at the horse track. Aired Live Monday, March 3rd at 7:30PM

Rob speculates about his girlfriend's former lovers and wonders if anyone actually fantasizes about their own current lover (from episode 88). Rob has an encounter with a blind fan and his hot girlfriend (from episode 66). Antoine Dodson returns for his second, and probably final, appearance (from episode 64). Michael Chamberlin is very forthcoming about his peculiar hygiene habits (from episode 55). Rob picks at old wounds with comedian Nick Mullen (from episode 83). A discussion of the upcoming Drafts & Laughs event leads to talk about Robby's nitpicking, the chat room, and how Joe's son is somehow familiar with a certain male porn star (from episode 90). Joe's much-discussed co-worker comes to him for help on a matter of intimacy an personal hygiene. When TMOS celebrates its 1000th episode, the question is raised as to whether or not that landmark is possible for this show. Robby goes on a first date on Valentine's Day. Rob and Joe review the new version of Robocop and discuss what films should and should not be remade. Rob's feels tricked by an early Valentine from his girlfriend. Rob seems a little too captivated with the new host of The Tonight Show. Aired Live Monday, February 17th at 7:30PM

Joe delivers on a commitment to do a local gig with Rob and many well known to the show are in attendance including Robby on a first date. Rob is blindsided when his girlfriend drops the name of a sports celebrity she once dated. On a double date with Rob, Joe's companion for the evening reveals her own encounter with a professional athlete. Rob's usual pressures are compounded by Valentine's Day. Rob is not that impressed with one of the countries' top Olympic athletes. Aired Live Monday, February 10th at 7:30PM

Although Joe continues to be unreliable, he once again promises not to cancel the upcoming weekend gig with Rob. When Mickey pressures his co-host into rating his appearance, everyone on The Rob and Joe Show gets evaluated as well for comparison. Rob, Joe and a surprise challenger compete to see who is the best at voices. Rob auditions for well-known network summer talent show. Rob has an update on another much-discussed TV project. Rob and Joe both have fun at their respective weekend shows. Rob testifies to what a truly bad driver Joe is. Joe hopes that a rescheduled date will actually happen this time, but Rob has his doubts. Joe's gotten bad about effectively promoting his shows. One listener gets very creative reviewing the show. Our 'entertainment correspondent' completely misunderstands a Facebook post from Joe. The Robinson brothers get into a contentious dialogue regarding a missed guest-booking opportunity. Joe opens for a well-know actor/comedian and is amazed by both the man's act and the audience response. Robby reveals details of his first date since the recent breakup and is subjected to the usual ridicule. Rob is fascinated by the story of a woman in the UK who gets dumped by the husband she saved with one of her kidneys. Rob and Joe lay the groundwork for another contest between the two of them. Rob offends one audience member while another actually offends him. Rob is happy to discover that he no longer holds the biggest-drunk-comic-in-the-area title. Joe's given yet another gig at 98 Rock and Robby is irritated with him. Robby gets the third degree about a potential date. Although a self-confessed 'bad driver', Joe gets into an accident that is not actually his fault. Rob concludes that as a speaker, MLK Jr was not someone you'd want to follow and considers other examples approaching this magnitude. Robby is forced to take the advice given to him on the previous show. Joe won't date  a woman who is not tattooed. The weather outside reminds Rob of his unusual history with blizzards and women. Rob and Joe offer high praise to women willing to expose themselves on film. With the abundance of awards shows now, Rob asks which are the best/worst. Tales are swapped about recent difficulties at comedy shows. Entertainment correspondent Michael Chamberlin returns to discuss relationships and his disdain for the awards shows. Rob wonders who would take a pill to make them perform better at their job or physically enhance them. Robby gets quizzed further about his recent breakup and his life. Rob returns from his most recent, and harrowing, trip to Afghanistan just in time for the live show. Only one non-single person remains on the show following recent developments. Joe seems to have really found a new groove with his stand-up. The cross-promotional appearances on The Mike O'Meara Show over the holidays are successful in spite of Joe's actions nearly getting them booted from the network. Another MORE network air personality rants about some criticism from Joe. In an effort to follow through on his resolution to be more forthcoming on the show, Joe shares stories of pursuit and disappointment. Monday, January 6th at 7:30PM

The topics and clips revisited include the following. Rob worries about what might happen if his girlfriend lost a foot (from episode 22). Rob is still troubled by the discovery of an extra large condom in the apartment long ago (from episode 21). Joe recounts his well-known battles with a former 98 Rock afternoon drive DJ (from episode 48). Joe starts trouble with the 98 Rock morning show when he is critical of a fill-in host selection, and thus the Sarah Simington Saga begins (from episodes 23 & 24). Show 'entertainment correspondent' Michael Chamberlin once again must answer questions about his career as a magician and his lack of athleticism when a curious photo from his website is posted in the chat room (from episode 41). Rob reveals that he colors his hair, and after initially missing it, Joe returns to it to interrogate him on the details. Aired Monday, December 30th at 7:30PM

Rob and Joe introduce themselves to the new listeners hearing them for the first time via the MORE Broadcasting network. When arriving to do a promotional appearance on the Mike O'Meara Show, they are surprised to discover a holiday party there in full swing. Joe's Christmas plans sound rather depressing and the holidays bring mounting pressure from Rob's girlfriend of five years. Rob and Joe puzzle over the best calculated marriage proposal following a significant other's lottery win. Robby brings attention to Joe's verbal crutch and also recalls how his brother's CD was received by one comedy aficionado. The 98 Rock charity show was a big success, but Robby's encounter with his long-time adversary casts a shadow on the event. Rob frets over the travel arrangements for his New Year's gig in Afghanistan. Rob feels guilty after a holiday shopping experience. Joe discusses a chance encounter with a male enhancement drug. As the show approaches the official teaming with the MORE network, there is speculation about who will be listening and Joe draws comparisons to his time working at 98 Rock. Gramps turns 71 and Rob is curious if his two sons acknowledge his birthday at all outside of the show. The bet about who 'The Swede' liked better is settled. Robby will finally meet the person he's endlessly tormented, and Rob and Joe have real concerns about how the encounter will unfold. Rob gently admonishes Joe for his foolish decisions and he responds with even more personal revelations. Two comedians are cyber-begging for an unusual and puzzling purpose. After Mickey gets real tears from his co-host, Rob and Joe question the direction of the show and wonder who might be the one to cry on theirs. A stranger emails Rob requesting that he remove a scandalous picture from Facebook. Joe recounts some awkward moments both on and off stage at a weekend gig. Aired Live Monday, December 16th at 7:30PM
