What sin or worldly security should you put down, and just walk away, and say, "I'm dead to it, it's dead to me, I'm gonna move on."? And you can then run free in Christ. Nothing we can hang on to is better than the life that He offers us!

For a believer, struggle can mean growth! So don't stop struggling - you'll be rewarded a heavenly crown for your earthly works, which you can then lay at the feet of Jesus.

No matter how "legitimate" an excuse to not obey God may seem to us, every excuse is a lame one. He's merciful to forgive, and He'll take care of all our needs, as long as we submit to obeying Him first!

As believers, we're gonna have some tough things to go through in life, that only God's power can defeat. That includes the courage to be a bold witness for Him, through faith, that when we go through trials, it's to refine us.

The Bible's clear when it says not to steal, and yet there are small areas in each of our lives where we may steal. How about not tithing? Is that "stealing from God"? When we give as He instructs in Scripture, He's promised to bless us and take care of us.

Believers become a threat to hell when they live in obedience and faithfulness to God, armored with His spiritual armor, choosing to trust in Him despite the circumstances!

We can never be effective in authority, until we're effective under authority. That's why we must submit to God's authority, because He knows what's best for us, and He'll direct us in that way!

It's easy to compare ourselves to other people based on what’s on the outside, but God's more focused on working with us on the inside. If we're waiting for God to bring a significant other into our life, we mustn't compromise our standards, but rather let Him work on us while we wait!

Even though Jesus promises to come after His "lost sheep", it's better to walk each day in obedience, listening to the voice of the Shepherd at all times. Life here on earth is short, so don't waste it in disobedience!

This world's filled with religions that say there are many ways to God/Heaven/Paradise. However, the Bible is the only book, and Christianity is the only message, that's the inerrant Word of the eternal one true God!

This world is a dark place because of our sin and fallen nature. But Jesus is the Light of the world. And if we have Jesus in our life, we too are lights in this world, reflecting His love! Does the room "light up" with Christ's love when you walk into it?

There's great importance in regular time alone with God for refreshing, renewal and recharging. Then we can rely on His strength and power as we do His work. Have you entered your rest? Then, is it you doing the work, or is it God doing the work through you?

Sometimes, when all we have is Jesus, we realize that all we need is Jesus. That's not to say that we have to give everything away, but we should give our time, energy, focus, resources, to things with eternal value!

The world lies about how we can be in control of ourselves and everything’s gonna be okay. The truth is, we're not in control, but we can trust the One who is, and who cares enough about us to give us hope in our future!

Humans continue to search for things of this world to satisfy us, but Jesus says that He's the Bread of Life, and it's only in Him that we can find satisfaction. And that's the only thing that'll make this life abundant, and eternal life possible!
