With this second episode of speaking about giving learned men and women exalted titles, we will continue where we left off on our last program. In religious theological circles, Catholics call the priests of the church “Father.” Christians call esteemed pastors “Teachers.” Jews call learned teachers “Rabbi” and legal scholars “Rav” or “Rabban.” However, according to Yeshua in Matthew 23:8-12, none of these titles have the approval of our Father in Heaven. Yet still, it’s a widely adopted practice to address church and synagogue leaders with these titles. On this podcast of Real Israel Talk Radio, Episode 029 Part 2 - Man’s  Exalted Titles of Rabbi, Teacher, and Father, we will have a close look into the cultural, biblical, archaeological, and historical background for using these terms and perhaps why Yeshua gave us his instructions to not use them. My reasoning for speaking about this has nothing to do with judging those who use the titles but rather to simply provide some theological context to help us make informed choices that line up with our redeemed life in Messiah.

Jeff Gilbert and Mark Call take a look at the increasing divisions in a formerly-free world, from divergent worldviews that seem to reflect some of the sources of conflict now being exacerbated by those who intend to "kill and destroy". They both agree, however, that there is a war on against Western Civilization, and "capitalism," whatever that now means.

This week the Torah teachers begin the study of the final chapter of the Book of Daniel, and what ultimately is one of the most famous (and arguably the first of at least two prophetic witnesses) in Scripture. And particulary relevant now.

There's a war coming. It may well already be inevitable. If we want to understand a bit of the Incredible Deception now in progress, it's helpful to start by taking a look back at history that is now being expunged. And the level of ignorance that now abounds -- historic ignorance, constitutional ignorance, economic ignorance, scientific ignorance, and, certainly, Scriptural ignorance, is astounding. Even if people survive the intended carnage that is coming -- clearly intended to lead directly to the Mask, er MARK, of the Beast -- they can hardly REbuild that which they don't even know was built in the first place. And if they don't even know what has ALREADY been taken away, they can't hope to get it back. This show is about what must happen AFTER people get "mad as hell, and aren't gonna take it any more!"

In this episode we begin our discussion of the Silent Years talking about the genesis of synagogue and the Jewish education system in the 2-3 centuries prior to and 1st century, during the time of Messiah.

During the next several episodes we are going to be preparing to approach the Gospel accounts. Before we get there, though, we want to have an understanding of the Israel our Messiah is born in to. For that, we have to spend some time in the so-called "Silent Years". This episode is a refresher of the Biblical story so far, preparing us for our next several episodes.

Under King David, Israel experienced its golden age. The New Eden was being realized and the promises from Adam through Abraham's family were being enjoyed by the promised people of God. Under King Solomon, something tragic happened that would necessitate God rescuing Eden from Israel. In this episode, we talk about these monumental events and what part they played in the history of Israel.

We use history to show that the 13 colonies kept many of the Biblical law. Is the constitution based on God’s laws?  

Moshe begins his last message to the Hebrews. His first words are a summary of the history of those who are now bones in the sand. A revelation comes forth though.
