Reading a sign that said "Pray for your faith to be bigger than your fear" got me thinking. Is it possible to have faith and fear at the same time? The more I thought about it the more I realized that the two cannot coexist. Either you have faith as your guiding light, or you have fear directing your life. In a world that has been given over to so much fear, it's time we take a serious look at what exactly is guiding our own lives. I believe that we can only live in faith if we know our Heavenly Father personally and intimately. We must have experience with Him and be able to build on that experience. After the story of the Pharaoh, the plagues, and the Exodus from Egypt, followed by commandments and mishpatim, this week's parsha (Terumah, Exodus chapters 25 through 27:19) is quite a departure. While Moses is still up on the mountain, he is told to take a terumah, offering, from all of those whose hearts make them willing. And gets a lot of information about how it is to be used. On today's episode of Real Israel Talk Radio, I will seek to unravel Yeshua's lessons on loyalty. This is program Episode 109 and Part 13 on the Qumran Dead Sea Scrolls. I will speak on their link to the New Covenant story of the Pharisees and their accusations against Yeshua and his disciples about Sabbath unlawfulness. Generally, it seems to me that when the Bible expositors unpack the story from Matthew 12:3-4, which is part of the overall context in the eight verses of this narrative, the takeaway lesson is not all about showing mercy and compassion. Although showing compassion and mercy is something to cultivate, it is NOT the takeaway lesson from this New Covenant story. When the Pharisees accused Yeshua's disciples of their Sabbath lawlessness, Yeshua then brought up the story of David in 1 Samuel 21 and what he did when he was given the old loaves of sacred bread on the Table inside the Tabernacle; that is,  the "Lechem haPanim" - the "showbread" of the priestly "Bread of the Faces." First, we must ask, what exactly did David do or not do? We'll get the backstory on this program and tie it together with another of Yeshua's encounters in Matthew 15:25-27. We'll learn what this means: He (Yeshua) answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs. This podcast examines the means by which vocal phrasicng in the middle east gave rise to the different cultural approaches to Hebrew vocal music for Ashkenazi, Sephardic, Western, and Egyptian worshipers. Examining the tonal linguistics of Hebrew in comparrison to another eastern language, Chinese. In so doing, we hear clearly the ornimentation and grace notes flow expressions and improvisation inbetween the consenant phrasing of eastern notation where the vowels rise, fall, and trill to give character distinction between cultural use. Finally Robert gives vocal examples of such phrasing. Season two consludes with three Vocal episodes. News, commentary, and an extended summary of major events, incredible Whoppers Revealed, and Clueless Jackbooted Thug Wannabees, who somehow just keep managing to "double down" anyway... ...for the week ending Saturday, 5 February, 2022.

One one hand, the incredible lies - on just about every front imaginable - keep getting exposed. And on the other hand, those pushing them just keep "doubling down." There's no denying that total tyranny is the goal. So, as more and more people begin to figure that out, and the fissure in society deepens as they do, what's next?

For over a decade now on this show, host Mark Call has looked at the admonition in Revelation 18:4 and talked about the 'how' and 'why' we are to "come out of her." By now the plagues, too, are beyond obvious. But does history, or economics, or even the stories of Scripture itself, give us any understanding of what happened to people in the past who TRIED to do that? Or, alternatively, who SHOULD have, and didn't? Today Mark leans a bit on his engineering background, and understanding of cycles, in everything from electronics and physics to economics and history, to make the point that Mark Twain described, albeit perhaps a bit humourously, that "history may not repeat EXACTLY, but it RHYMES." And there's a whole LOT of value that we can take from a look there.
