Derek Prince Legacy Radio 15 Minute Format

How often have we prayed and prayed without seeing results? As Derek Prince pointed out, adding thanksgiving to our prayers can bring the answers we need. Certainly we have much to be grateful for in this nation. We do have limitless opportunities!

We enjoy many liberties in the United States. As Derek Prince put it, “… we in the United States enjoy today a unique privilege: the privilege of being perhaps the main source of the giving forth of the gospel to many, many other nations.” Perhaps that’s one of the biggest reasons we are blessed. Each day this week, we’ll be focusing on the importance of being thankful as we hear Derek Prince highlight a lesson from Scripture and discuss specific things we can be thankful for. Today, we are going to talk about the religious liberty we enjoy in the United States

As strange as it may seem, many blessings are associated with the fear of the Lord in Scripture. The essence of true wisdom is the fear of the Lord. The beginning of knowledge is the fear of the Lord. What else does God have in store for those who fear Him?

In today’s message, Derek identifies seven primary forms of manifestations that are mentioned in Scripture, all of which rested on Jesus. The last of these was “the fear of the Lord,” and Derek will reveal how this was fulfilled in the life of Jesus.

When we hear the phrase “fear of the Lord,” we tend to unconsciously confuse it with other kinds of fear that are unpleasant. So, to set the record straight, Derek identifies some of these other fears for us so we can recognize the difference more easily.

This week, as week examine the theme, “The Fear of the Lord,” Derek will point out different elements of this character trait and how we can develop the fear of the Lord. Mind you, this is not fear of man or religious fear or even natural fear. No, this fear brings perfection in God’s sight.

Using the biblical character as his pattern, Derek Prince points out how the promises given to Joshua can apply to any Christian. If we will not let the Word of God depart from our mouth, if we will meditate on it, and if we will practice it, then we will be prosperous and have good success.

Every promise of God in the Bible that fits my situation and fills my need is for me NOW—and there are over eight thousand of them! But many of these promises are conditional—we have no right to the promise until we meet God’s conditions.

Today, Derek explains actual steps we must take to obtain the inheritance that belongs to us in Christ Jesus. Listen and be encouraged to hear that ALL God’s promises are available to you!

Our God is not stingy. He is not in spiritual or financial need. He is the author and source of everything and He provides for His people in abundance. So how do we become recipients of all that? Through His very great and precious promises in the Bible.

Today, Derek explains how we depend on the Holy Spirit in every way. Among other things, He is our Servant-Guide. Confronting us with a choice that determines our destiny is part of His function. He reveals the Father and the Son to us, equips us with His gifts, and guides us to our meeting with our heavenly Bridegroom.

Scripture tells us that Abraham was blessed “in every way,” and that we Christians might come into that blessing. The Holy Spirit is called to help us understand and receive our inheritance. Today Derek explains there are five specific ways in which the Holy Spirit helps us.
