December 2 Rev. Sky reminds us that the angel who announced the birth of the Christ child represents the same divine potential in us, that we have the power to create great and joyful events in our lives.

November 25: When the source of the water is dirty, muddy water will be seen in the lowland. Margie Hyatt, LUT, brought out the metaphysical meaning of this ancient Hawaiian proverb: When thoughts are dirty (impure, less than holy), dirty words are heard. Clear water, the living water that Jesus spoke of, is truly our divine nature.

November 18 Rev. Sky opened our awareness to the power of intention in our lives, the force that is the determination to act on our thoughts and our dreams. With purposeful steps in the direction of our vision, we can bring about intention in our lives.

November 11 Rev. Sky addressed the “Law of Abundance” - the principle that God’s Kingdom is a well of richness that overflows with the possibility of immense good in our lives.

November 4 Rev. Sky illustrated the Law of Circulation by relating it to the scientific principle, Ohm’s Law. We are the circuit controllers, the influencing factor on the amount of current (energy of God) that we are allowing to move in our lives, through our resistance (usually fear) to life. And we can overcome resistance through powerful affirmations.

October 28 Rev. Sky St. John shared from this ancient Hawaiian process of reconciliation and how we can apply this wisdom to our daily lives.

October 21 The sanctuary was filled with magnificent male voices of the Waiawa Choir singing and worshiping the Divine and the divinity within each of us. What a powerful message of hope, praise and inspiration!

October 14 While Rev. Mindy Tucker honored our past, Rev. Sky St. John invited us to come fully into the present to focus on why we are here now: To be a part of the circle, to love exactly who we are now and affirm our potential, to praise and to worship.

October 7 Geo Downer, LUT, shared how the secrets of successful artisan bread making can actually serve as tools for transformation in our lives.

September 30: The great night that provides, the great day that neglects. Rev. Mindy Tucker interpreted this proverb as the scale that we live on which balances us between happiness and a state of discontent.

Rev. Sky St. John highlighted the difference between what God does and what we can do for ourselves. God has invested in us by individually endowing us with unique gifts and talents. It is up to us to recognize and treasure them in ourselves and as well as to see and value them in others -- knowing that own our gifts will be different from theirs.

OOMPA is an acronym for five basic principles of Unity. Listen and watch as five members of our ministerial team each highlight one of the basic tenets of the Unity Movement.

Margie Hyatt, L.U.T. demonstrates how we can experience God in the unexpected and synchronistic events of our lives. She shows us how we can prepare ourselves to notice these occurrences of miracles through prayer and meditation.

Rev. Sky St. John delivered a compelling lesson in identifying what we hold as scripture. Scripture is inspired writing and all religions have scripture. Reading a sacred text can reveal someone’s experience of the Divine, but it is not the Divine. It can, however, lead us to make a deeper connection with God.
