V-RADIO

Senator Mike Gravel, the Senator who read the Pentagon papers into the congressional record, filibustered to end the draft, and ran for President in 2008 will once again be my guest here on V-RADIO! We will be talking about Mike's take on the Resource Based Economy, his National Initiative for Democracy, and a message from him to Occupy Wall Street! Tune in! 

This is a collection of conversations I had when I visited Occupy Lansing, which was the host of the most recent "Unite the Tribes" gathering. Members of Occupy Movements all over Michigan attended this great event. Forewarning, there is some profanity in some of these conversations. I also shot a lot of video at this gathering, including a lot of great stuff from the Occupy Lansing camp itself. The Venus Project recently visited Occupy Miami, we will be talking about that and what is currently going on with the Venus Project activism in general. 

On this episode we will be talking with Rob Gjerde and Sheena Bratt.. Mr. Gjerde is the director of the Earthday Brasil festival. Sheena is his assistant in that project as well as a member of the Venus Project's activism team.  The Venus Project will also be featured at this event and we will be discussing their involvement as well. Thanks to some donated equipment, I was able to record audio and video during my weekend stay at Occupy Flint. Great conversations and interviews galore! I really hope you enjoy it. This brief episode was recorded while I was taking a break during a Thanksgiving party I attended with a friend.

On this episode of V-RADIO we are proud to once again have Charlie Veitch, a British activist who has done great work that has inspired many activists worldwide. Charlie and I will be talking about his work, and what the implications of the global "Occupy" movement really are. 

  NOTE: There were some technical problems in the start but the show was really great about ten minutes in.  Tonight on V-RADIO we once again have Lucas Vasquez of Occupy Wall Street who along with some of his friends from Occupy Wall Street will be coming on to talk about what took place just hours after our previous broadcast. The police under direction of the Mayor of New York raided Zucotti Park, evicting the protestors. This morning however New York supreme Court judge ordered that the eviction was illegal, and that the protestors should be allowed to return to the park. Recently Occupy Detroit's media group came to consenus to ask me to run the official Occupy Detroit podcast. So tonight for our first show I am going to go live at 8PM ET and take callers who are there on the ground of the event to talk about Occupy Detroit and give reports from the ground at the rally. This is basically a chance for people at this event to be on scene reporters or just to call in and talk about the fun they are having at the rally. This is a recording of the show I did with Z-RADIO on their ZBN channel. I discussed a lot of the great stuff going on in Occupy Detroit, and we talked a bit about consensus model decision making. Was a good conversation. Jack Reed of Community Planet also joined us.

Beyond Zero Emissions is an organization focused on awareness and implementation of renewable energies.  Also on this episode I will be announcing the winner of the raffle for October!
