On this episode V-RADIO is proud to once again have Doug Mallette. We will be talking about Doug's recent trip to Europe and Canada, and conversing about the state of things in the Zeitgeist Movement.

As economic times grow harder donations have dropped off to a level I cannot maintain the amount of time I was putting into V-RADIO and I will have to put more time into other projects. As donations dropped off, my electric bill is on a shut off notice. And I cannot continue to put as much time into V-RADIO for the time being. I will do my best to return when and if I come up with another way to stay afloat. I may still do a show every now and then. And obviously I will continue to be active in the movement. If by some miracle I get the donations before April 1st I will be able to continue as before. Throughout election year V-RADIO will be showcasing alternative canddiates for President. You may not agree with everything you hear from these candidates but I feel it is part of my duty as "alternative media" is to expose what the mainstream media is not. And a candidate can bring attention to issues, win or lose. On this episode I interview Rocky Anderson. One of my listeners brought hm to my attention and I have to say I was impressed with his platform. On his campaign website voterocky.org I found this entitled 10 reasons to vote for Rocky Anderson:   The promotion of the public interest through the defeat of the systemic corruption that has caused massive failures in public policy. An immediate end to the on-going wars. Essential health care coverage for all citizens. Urgent international leadership by the U.S. to prevent against the most catastrophic consequences of climate disruption. Adequate revenues to balance the budget through fair taxation. Treatment of substance abuse as a public health, rather than criminal justice, issue. Control of the Federal Reserve by the Treasury Department and Congress. A balanced budget (or a surplus) except in times of war or major recession. An end to the legal concept of corporate “personhood;” a constitutional amendment to overrule Citizens United. An end to the stranglehold on our government by the military-industrial complex.

On this episode I team up with some friends from Occupy Detroit to talk about the new law recently passed by the Senate that targets Occupy movements. H.R. 347 makes it a federal offense to “enter or remain” in an area designated as “restricted.” This episode will be an official "Occupy Detroit" podcast, but everyone involved in activism should tune in as this topic is relevant to any activist.

On this show we will be talking with Rob Ninowski, a student of Sociology. Rob will be doing a presentation involving his studies in anthropology and sociology at the Z-DAY event here in Michigan. We had a great conversation that is relevant to TZM as well as the upcoming "TROLL" documentary that I am working on with Aaron Moritz. On today's episode we are going to talk about the various elements of sociology that people don't consider in day to day life despite the fact that they have a great deal of impact on their lives. The truths of social interaction that we are concious of but work hard to keep ourselves from thinking about. Why is it OK for "popular" people to bully "unpopular" people? Yet such behavior is rebuked when the roles are reversed? Why is it OK for certain people to behave aggressively and for some people not to? Why does insulting or making fun of an opponent in debate help them "win" even if their facts are dead wrong? Rob's studies have revealed some of the underlying causes of these phenomena that have held mankind back for centuries. And we will talk about them today on V-RADIO. My friend Ray Powell whom I used to co-host the "North Virginia Patriots" show with is working on a book. We had a great conversation about it recently and I realized that it covers many topics that my listeners would appreciate. Join us for this discussion about mankind's "quest" and the different routes it takes. The listeners requested guests who can talk about the potentials of the technology suggested by the Venus Project, one of those technologies is Geo-Thermal Energy. On this episode V-RADIO is proud to have Dr. Jeff Tester. Dr. Tester is the David Croll Professor of Sustainable Energy Systems in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University. For more than three decades, he has been involved in chemical engineering research as it relates to energy and environment. He is an expert on geothermal energy. Dr. Tester holds a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has written two textbooks in his field. Thanks again to everyone who has supported V-RADIO! This one was a long time coming.
