What a dynamic duo on the show tonight!  The two Barbaras!  First up is Foremother and Wayshower, feminist, author and scholar, Barbara Walker, talking about her latest book, Man Made God.  We'll delve into all things related to the Bible Morality, including if Jesus was ethical, as well as rape, slavery, killing, deaths, including killings ordered by God, women in the New Testament, silliness and which commandments we prefer. At the bottom of the show, we have on the show for the first time, Barbara Marx Hubbard discussing her newest book., her movie, Visions of a Universal Humanity and the Foundation for Conscious Evolution.

At the top of tonight's show Prof. Barbara McGraw, Director for the Center for Engaged Religious Pluralism, discusses The American Founders & the Role of Religious Pluralism in American Public Life, along with her book, Taking Religious Pluralism Seriously. In the second half of the show, we have returning to the show a favorite guest, Patrick McCollum, discussing religious tolerance and the lack there of in the public arena.  Patrick will update us on his work in the field on this important subject.

At the top of the show tonight I'll interview Danica Anderson, certified clinical criminal justice specialist and author of Blood and Honey: The Secret Herstory of Women - specifically South Slavic Women's Experiences in a World of Modern-Day Territorial Warfare - How daughters, mothers and grandmothers heal their communiites and circumvent another century of wars.  We'll also discuss KOLO Trauma Treatment and Training in Bosnia and across the globe and her Blood and Honey series of workshops, seminars and trainings that helps women heal from catastrophic trauma. At the bottom of the show, Leigh McCloskey, author, artist and actor, founder and creator of The Sophia Temple aka Hieroglyph of the Human Soul in Malibu, CA will discuss the Heroic and Mythic Feminine as Revealed in Art, Tarot and Visual Philosophy.  A contemporary Renaissance Man, Leigh is what I would consider one of the best role models for men in post patriarchy.  We discuss the shift from the secular and religious to the sacred, from the psychology of the "me" and "I" to the "we" as we move toward a paradigm of love and interconnection - which is Sophia, the Sacred Feminine, our future.

At the top of the hour, join me as I interview Robert Moss and his approach called ACTIVE DREAMING, an original synthesis of contemporary dreamwork and shamanism.  We'll discuss if the departed communicate with us in our dreams, if we can lead alternate lives in our dreams, dreaming the future, dream archaeology, nightmares, and if dreams can connect us to our ancestral wisdom.  I'll ask Robert what he means by "living by coincidence" and if dreaming can help us heal. Then in the second part of the show, we've rescheduled Elizabeth Davis author of Women's Sexual Passages: Finding Pleasure and Intimacy at Every Stage of Life and Orgasmic Birth: Your Guide to a Safe, Satisfying and Pleasurable Birth Experience.  YIKES!  Who would have thought that was possible!  Among the things we'll discuss are how sexual desire changes during the monthly cycle and menopause, if contraception modifies normal fluctuations in desire, the role of ritual in women's lives and studies that provide insight into the benefits of having or denying ourselves a healthy sexual life.

Join me tonight as I interview Douglas E. Cowan, author of Sacred Space: The Quest for Transcendence in Science Fiction Film and Television, published by Baylor University Press.  This is his companion piece to Sacred Terror, his study of religion and horror films.  We'll be talking about how science fiction cinema and television have redefined the quest for transcendence.   We'll of course be discussing the influence of Star Trek, Deep Space Nine, Stargate, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica and War of the Worlds.  And if there's time, we'll delve into his first book, Sacred Terror.
