Welcome to Positively Nerdy! It’s time to once again join in on the reading and rapid page turning that is: Ryan and Rob Choose Their Own Adventure! Join us as we wrap up Book 3, the Caverns of Kalte and begin Book 4: The Chasm of Doom!Ryan and Rob spent a considerable amount of time wading through the second book in the series, Fire on the Water, but shortly into this episode the boys will already finish Book 3, the Caverns of Kalte and capture Vonatar the Traitor. However, the work of a Kai Lord is never done and before we can even catch our breath, we're whisked south to the investigate the disappearance of resources vital to the Kingdom as well as learn what happened to the first convoy sent to investigate. There are a lot of short entries and quick decisions to be made, creating an exciting pace for the beginning of the fourth book. Any concerns about a lack of combat are quickly reversed as Ryan and Rob travel deeper and deeper into the bandit stronghold. Prepare yourselves listeners, for the Chasm of Doom

Welcome to Positively Nerdy! It’s time to once again go back and get caught up on comic goodness with Comics With Catch-Up! In this episode we’re taking a look at a four random comics from the mid-to-late seventies from both Marvel and DC!These four comics were found in a '4 for a $1' bin at Grand-Con last September. First up is Marvel Super Heroes #58 featuring The Incredible Hulk, reprinting Incredible Hulk #104. The issue pits the Hulk against the Rhino in his first non-Amazing Spider-Man appearance. Then it's Spider-Woman #1, not her first appearance but the beginning of her all-new solo series and the exploration of her mysterious origins. Heading over to DC Comics is a trip back in time to Smallville and the origins of Lex Luthor's decent into villainy, paired against his latest encounter with the Man of Steel in Superman #292. Finally, the character of Karb-brak returns to 'Comics With Catch-Up' in Action Comics #462, sending Superman back to 1776!These four comics represent a dollar well spent and offer four exciting stories filled with origins, back stories and plenty of action
