Welcome to Positively Nerdy! One week ago I competed in my first half marathon.  The Star Wars: The Dark Side Half Marathon at Walt Disney World! This episode is dedicated to my entire experience.  From registration back in September and the days leading up the event, through the event itself and how I felt when it was all said and done. And let me tell you: If I can do it, you can do it!  Completing this half marathon (as an overweight, out-of-shpae, non-runner) gave me a sense of accomplishment I haven't had in a long, long time! I have very fond memories of Marvel's Ultimate Universe.  It's a large part of what brought me back into comics in 2004 and was something I enjoy month after month for years.  Within that, I have constantly put the "Magnetic North" story arc from Ultimate X-Men up on a pedestal. Welcome to Positively Nerdy!  It’s time to once again go back and get caught up on comic goodness with Comics With Catch-Up!  In this episode we’re taking a look at Captain America #310 and the debut of the Serpent Society!Long ago, when I made my first visit to an actual 'comic book store', Captain America #310 was one of the comics I purchased that day, making it one of the first comics I ever bought myself.  Since then the issue and it's story and characters have only grown on me.  So as Captain America: The Winter Solider hits theaters, now seems like the perfect time to go back and take another look at this issue.  Sure, the Serpent Society is a bit silly, but characters featured in this issue such as Anaconda and Constrictor have remained personal favorites
