This week, the guys go over some interesting news, including TNA’s new special called “Open Fight Night”, Tito Ortiz thinking of joining World Wrestling Entertainment, Brock Lesnar’s commitment to the WWE and whether or not he’ll want to be at Wretslemania XXIX, Kurt Angle ending plans to join the Olympics due to an injury, and so much more. In the second hour, Brian and Chris contemplate what CM Punk was really doing in an English pub before Raw went on the air, Zack Ryder still being denied a better spot on the show, an actual opponent for Brodus Clay (that still ended up being a squash match, and the heel-fest of Lord Tensai to John Cena. The Pro Wrestling Rewind returned on the SNS radio network, as both The Power Andy Knowles and the Bronxfather Tony Mirabella shared their memories of the late, great Dick Clark, who unfortunately passed away today, April 18, 2012, at the age of 82.  The SNS Radio Network and the Pro Wrestling Rewind would like to thank Mr. Clark for all his years of entertainment, and for all the memories. The hosts truly did “rewind” tonight, talking some old school wrestling and how it was back in the day.  The Power Andy Knowles then revealed his wrestling career, yes, you heard right, his wrestling career which involved an attempted assault by a clown! The hosts covered some news stories, including the WWE’s stock reaching its lowest point in years, the Mick Foley/Dean Ambrose Twitter war, and TNA Wrestler Austin Aeries’ comments on Ring Of Honor.  We then took your phone calls before wrapping up this very interesting edition of the Pro Wrestling Rewind!

WNL returned to the SNS Radio Network airwaves (www.snsradionetwork.com) with your hosts The TreyDawg and special co-host The Bronxfather, with JJ out of action due to family matters. The boys give us the Raw Recap with special emphasis on the continuing Brock Lesnar-John Cena fued, and Trey gets a bit hot about chat room malcontents! After the break our “News Of The Week” segment, sponsored by Wrestling-Online.com gives a recap on the latest in the Kurt Angle Olympic saga, fallout from last night’s TNA Lockdown PPV, and the incredulous fact that Bronx has no clue who Gina Carano is! We open the phone lines and Trey gives one lucky listener a quick history on the downfall of WCW, and we wrap the show with “One Night In Bangkok”. Definitely a fun show!

Sunday Night Showdown returned to the SNS Radio Network airwaves (www.sundaynightshowdown.com) with The Trey Dawg and the Bronxfather covering the latest offering from TNA, Lockdown! Even with the Shark MIA, the boys dish out all the blow-by-blow action, from the opening Team Garrett vs. Team Eric bout, an amazing Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy match, to the finale, James Storm vs. Booby Roode.  Trey especially gets quite animated as show goes along, (channeling his inner JR, we think)! Our gaming segment got Sean a little heated on news that the BBB are going after EA, along with the little mistake “announcement” coming from a Rockstar employee! This week, Ashley takes a look at 3 movies, “The Raven”, “Battleship”, and “The Pirates! Band Of Misfits”, along with the usual banter between Ashley and Sean — who seem to really love interrupting each other — delivering the latest in the worlds of Movies, Video Games, and Pro Wrestling. The New UnPlugged returned on 4-13-12 on the SNS Radio Network (www.snsradionetwork.com) with “The Phenom” Charles Shane & “Mr. Money on the Mic” JJ (ALL CAPS) $exay. The boys started off the show with “This Week in Wrestling History” by Sean Beckerman of Beyond the Bell. JJ randown the latest “News of the Week” sponsored by Wrestlezone.com. JJ and Charles reviewed the Smackdown “Blast from the Past” supershow and Charles discussed the latest Gaming News and notes. JJ opened the phonelines and read emails before wrapping the show with some Hall and Oates on this latest episode of the New UnPlugged.

This week, Brian and Chris go over some eventful news, including Scott Steiner’s incoherent Twitter ranting, the Bella Twins possibly leaving the WWE at the end of the month, Scott Hall’s latest arrest, rumors of Sable joining the WWE Hall of Fame next year, former Tough Enough contestant AJ Kirsch crossing paths at the Cauliflower Alley Club event in Las Vegas, Dean Ambrose calling out Mick Foley for “screwing up professional wrestling”, and Rikishi being snubbed from last week’s Smackdown. In the second hour, The guys talk about Brock Lesnar being the new face of the WWE on Raw after giving John Cena a bloody mouth. On Smackdown, the “Blast from the Past” might not have been the blast we were expecting. Though you did have Daniel Bryan and AJ on Piper’s Pit. Also, while the guys give their picks for TNA Lockdown this coming Sunday, Magnus gets in Brian’s cross-hairs and Brian needs to get it off his chest.
