The Whole Indy Show is back once again, this time giving you a more bitesize piece of indy goodness after last week’s marathon show. Ashley has given Randy the night off so he goes solo, firstly covering the news from over the Christmas and New Year period, including Ric Flair making his way to Japan, TNA news regarding DVD distribution and TV deals in Europe and Tommy Dreamer not being very happy with piracy and his House Of Hardcore show, as well as announcing matces for Chikara, CZW and the National Pro Wrestling Day Event. Part 2 sees Ash run through the results for the live events that happened over the past week, with shows from Wrestling Is Fun and AAW on tap, and also Shane Douglas’s Extreme Rising Show, seeing the crowning of their very first World Champion. He then closes out with a little bit of grandioso style music due to the Wrestle Kingdom show that was this weekend. During the matches, including SCUM defending their tag titles against Caprice & Coleman and the Briscoes, Matt Hardy taking on Adam Cole in a special challenge match and Ladder War IV between Kevin Steen & El Generico, they also run through some of the big indy news from the past week, including more matches added to the National Pro Wrestling Day celebrations, and from Sandro’s email, an update on PWG’s DDT4 tournament, results from AIW’s End Of The World show, and, accompanied with some picks from the guys, the card for New Japan’s annual Wrestle Kingdom show in Tokyo next week. The Open Book hit the airwaves again with the last show of 2012 with a huge wrestling segment that first saw Bronx give us a rundown of wrestling in 2012. The boys then gave out some awards for wrestling. In the 2nd segment the boys quickly covered some wrestling, talking about porn on consoles, to the War Z debacle to whatever they could find. In the final segment the boys give out some awards for movies, and the show then goes off the tracks with a email from L-Train, before the boys end the show with a Christmas Song. All this and more on this jam packed episode of the Open Book.

Tonight TNA Chat Live returned to the air for a special Friday edition, and a double header here on the SNS Radio Network, with the Open Book. The BronxFather talked about some positive things that TNA is doing and has done in 2012, including advertising and bumping up the ratings slightly. Bronxy also took a call from Crelly, as they both discussed the value of ticket prices for TNA, and also how it’s sometimes hard being a TNA fan in the IWC. Longtime caller AnthonyFarley chimed in, as well as a rare appearance by longtime network listener Huhn Jo. In closing an e-mail by Bluemystery was read as The BronxFather gave his final thoughts on TNA to close out TNA Chat Live for 2012 here on the SNS Radio Network!

The show started off with JJ and Bronxy talking about WWE’s Tribute to the Troops and JJ brought back a Special Holiday edition of “Lexie’s World featuring Sienna”.The girls discussed what Christmas gifts they would get their favorite superstars in the WWE. JJ took the first break and played the SNS Family Chistmas Craptacular messages and Trey joined the show. JJ randown the latest “News of the Week”sponsored by Wrestling-Online.com including the recent troubles from THQ oweing the WWE 45 Million dollars. JJ took the 2nd break which featured Bronx enlisting The Chipmunks to sing a little diddy about 3 hour Raws, Krispy Kreme chimes in with a Christmas Rap, and Santa vs Moses in the latest Epic Rap Battle of History. After the break the boys discuss their favorite Christmas moments over the years and thank the listeners for their support over the years before JJ ended the show with a favorite Christmas song “Ãll I want for Christmas”by Mariah Carey on the 2012 Christmas Craptacular. The Whole Indy Show managed to survive the Apocalype and is back to dish out another slice of Indy Gooness. As Randy still seems to be stuck in the fallout buker, Ashley is running solo for this week. As ever, the news of the week is discussed first, featuring Shelton Benjamin departing from ROH, WWE making some indy signings to their developmental and ROH signing a deal for providing web videos and streams. Sandro also e-mails in with some news with a possible delay to Kenta Kobashi’s retirement match, the entrants for PWG’s DDT4 tournament in January and lots of Lucha news amongst other things. The second segment has Ashley give his thoughts on the CZW Cage Of Death 14 with some very interesting matches including Masada defneding his CZW World Title against the talented Drake Younger & DJ Hyde & Matt Tremont finish their bitter feud in a BRUTAL Cage Of Death Match. The final part is all about last weekend’s Final Battle iPPV from Ring Of Honor, with Matt Hardy not going down well with the fans in his match against Adam Cole, Jerry Lynn’s last match in ROH against Mike Bennett and the huge main event as Kevin Steen and El Generico battle each other one more time in Ladder War 4 for the newly designed ROH World Title. Ashley and a late arriving Sean are back for another episode of The Open Book, first covering all things wrestling with SNS’s results of Fourdown, the guys thoughts on TLC, the Slammy awards and Smackdown, as well as running through the results of the PWI awards announced earlier this week, as well as mentioning Open Book’s own Wrestling awards which will be discussed on next week’s show. Speaking of awards, part 2 has Sean & Ashley, as well as L-Train, Mac Daddy & Shifty give their picks for various catagories in the Open Book Gaming awards. Also on tap are some of the big gaming stories, including THQ’s bankruptcy protection, 7,000 WiiU’s being stolen from a Seattle airport and the furore over War Z and it’s Steam release this week. The final part has some movie news, including a release date for Anchorman 2 and Activision not wanting to make a Call Of Duty movie. The guys then respond to an e-mail from L-Train, and with plans to also have a Movie Awards part for next week, the guys close this week with a little Highway To Hell.
