This week on the Pro Wrestling Rewind, The Power Andy Knowles and BronxZilla Tony Mirabella start off the show by talking some TNA. Yes, TNA. We focused on a promo cut by EC3 about how he lost the TNA title and renounced his evil ways. Neither host bought it, and Andy told us exactly why you shouldn’t feel sorry for EC3. After the break, we talked about a column written by self proclaimed super genius Mark Madden, and how he compared the NXT crowds to the Raw and pay per view crowds. Mark had some interesting points to make, and so did Andy and Tony. This all culminated in Andy Knowles going on a patriotic rant about Canada! We then moved onto more serious topics. Bronx had some choice words for Matt Hardy, and his failed attempt to start a Twitter war with WWE tag team champion Big E of the New Day! The show ended with the hosts talking about the sad news that Bret Hart has prostate cancer. This week, the Pro Wrestling Rewind reviews the 2016 Royal Rumble with The Power Andy Knowles and BronxZilla Tony Mirabella. The hosts began the show going over the ending to the Royal Rumble, and what the future will bring leading into Fastlane and Wrestlemania. Andy and Tony agreed 100% that some ground rules need to be set in place for the Royal Rumble. Both men agreed that the way some eliminations went down were controversial, the most noteworthy of which was how Brock Lesnar was eliminated! We talked about Kalisto and Alberto Del Rio, and the multiple US Title changes. AJ Styles made his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble, and how will he do in the futures? TNA was discussed, and the Feast Or Fired “tournament.” Jeff Hardy has re-signed with TNA, and Bronx justified why James Storm is one of the few guys who had a legit reason for going back to TNA. With the Royal Rumble only a few days away, you knew it had to happen. Once again, wrestling’s truth detector The Power Andy Knowles and BronxZilla Tony Mirabella brought you yet another action packed podcast with this week’s Pro Wrestling Rewind. We started off talking about the recent TNA World Title change, with Matt Hardy taking the title from EC3. Neither host was thrilled about this, and Bronx was not happy with the double turn, with EC3 seemingly now the babyface, and Matt turning heel! On this edition of the Pro Wrestling Rewind, The Power Andy Knowles and BronxZilla Tony Mirabella open the show by talking about the recent WWE US Title changes, which saw Kalisto win the title from Alberto Del Rio on this past Monday Night Raw, only to drop it back to Del Rio on Smackdown! Both the hosts had different takes on this, but both ultimately agreed it was a good shot in the arm for Kalisto. After the break, Andy and Bronx went into a long discussion about Kevin Owens being hit by a young fan at a recent show, and Owens’ Twitter response directed towards the child and the father. Bronx had to admit that The Power changed his views on this topic, as Andy took a unique stance on the situation as a father. In the final segment of the show, the boys talked some TNA, and Andy had some choice words about bringing a baby down to the ring.
