After taking a week off, the Pro Wrestling Rewind returns with The Power Andy Knowles and BronxZilla Tony Mirabella. The hosts talk about everything from the brand split, and the possibility that Smackdown may be getting separate women’s and tag titles. Bronx talks about how Raw felt “retro,” with the vile beatdown of Big E by The Club as well as the fact that we have some squash matches back. The boys went back and forth over which brand got the better roster after the brand split, and we broke down the very early Summerslam card. After a hiatus last week, the Pro Wrestling Rewind with the Power Andy Knowles and BronxZilla Tony Mirabella returned to cover the Raw/Smackdown Live draft in detail! While Andy thought that Smackdown ended up getting the better roster, Bronx didn’t totally agree. Indeed, the 2016 brand split brought much conversation, to the point where this edition has no commercial breaks! Everything related to the brand split was discussed, including titles, rosters, commissioners, GMs, announcers and more! We also talked about Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns being drafted to Raw. Bronx had some harsh words for the UFC, and the fact that Brock has now, according to the news, failed TWO drug tests! Andy and Tony went back and forth about this issue. This week on the Pro Wrestling Rewind, Andy starts the show solo as Bronx was late to the party. Andy ranted about the suspensions of Roman Reigns, Jerry Lawler and the release of Adam Rose and how they compare and make the WWE look hypocritical. Bronx joined the show for the second segment, and he and Andy got into it over the “30 day rule,” politics and much more. This week on the Pro Wrestling Rewind, it’s quite a different show. BronxZilla Tony Mirabella starts us off by reviewing this past week’s Monday Night Raw which saw Seth Rollins cut his own “pipe bomb” regarding the 30 day suspension of former WWE World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns for violating the wellness policy! Bronx covered Raw in depth, (mostly), and gave his thoughts on a wide variety of topics including the New Day, the Wyatts and the triple threat match at Battleground. In our second segment, Bronx went OFF on CM Punk, who conducted an interview on the Colin Cowherd show. T was VERY offended by this, as Cowherd has been VERY hard on wrestling fans in the past. This week on the Pro Wrestling Rewind, Bronx and Andy returned and discussed a wide variety of topics. To start the show, we talked about TNA and the debacle that happened this Tuesday night on Pop TV! Pop aired a loop of commercials instead of Impact! To make matters worse, TNA LITERALLY had to BEG for money to make Slammiversary happen! After the break, the Pro Wrestling Rewind ceased being a wrestling show, as Andy and T dove deep into the killings in Orlando, with both hosts having different opinions, but ultimately agreeing that something needs to be done to stop gun violence in this country.
