First I want to start out by apologizing to my audience and guests for getting this show out so late. I had to take a part-time job very quickly last week and it basically took up all the free time my full-time job left me. For episode 15 we welcomed back our past two guests Tam, and Oestrus. We also decided to have a drinking contest on the show in memory of Steve Jobs...needless to say the episode this week isn't for the younger crowd. Topics included cover: 1) The new BoU (Bind on Use) pet Blizzard has released on the Blizz store and its possible effects on the in-game economy. 2) More information on the "looking for raid" feature in particular the changes to the loot system. 3) The group goes in depth in our new feature "Ready to Raid"

Xantar goes a little more in depth on the two dungeons currently available on the PTR and Sigmandis makes more excuses for why he hasn't downloaded the PTR client. Some more light was shed on the 'Looking for Raid' feature that is going to be released with 4.3 and the hosts analyze some of the benefits and drawbacks. Other News: WoW Magizine Ends Its Publication Run After just one full year WoW has decided to stop producing the WoW magizine. Xantar tries to decide how he feels about the new mage T13 armor set and Sigmandis groans about how pallidan tier previews are always the last to show up. Both of us drool about the druid T13 set. Nerfs are coming to heroics!? What the hell! We have two listener emails and in turn two contest winners! I also fixed the Skype line. Believe it or not if you don't check the box in settings that says "send calls to voice mail" it won't send calls to voice mail. What the heck!...yea totally my fault. Sigmandis demonstrates his powers to combine two completely unrelated words into one...and he can't stop doing it.

So after Blizzard dumped a bunch of news on us about 4.3 last week we were kind of left with nothing to talk about this week. Luckily we did have one listener drop us an email to talk about, and we even started to cover some things for WoW beginners. Well...Ok so I shouldn't have waited so long to do the show notes because now I've forgotten most of what we talked about on the show. I'll try and cover the basics. First off I'd like to welcome my new Co-Host to the show, Xantar. Xantar has a much more impressive World of Warcraft resume than I do and has been playing the game since Vanilla. Big welcome to him. My guest shared her reasons for leaving WoW for Rift (at least for the short term) and we shared our mixed opinions for this Blizzard did to help or hurt WoW. So I know I promised all of you I'd be having a special guest host on the show this week but do to some tech glitches that just didn't happen. You see I bought a Macbook Pro last week and after getting it running I thought it was going to be easy as heck to record the podcast...well it wasn't. I'm still trying to get the hang of using Garage Band so you'll notice there isn't any intro or out(tro?) music. This week in the news: Yes I missed the live stream of "The Raid" I'll be buying it off iTunes. I heard it was great, wish I had remembered to watch. The ugly moose bird snagged 1.9 million dollars in donations for the Japanese tsunami relief.
