The beginning is a little quiet as my girlfriend was asleep in the next room and I needed to record a brief PSA to clear up when our first live show at our new time will be. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday y'all will be hearing a pre-recorded show that will be done sometime Tuesday afternoon. After that we will be recording weekly on Wednesday's at 9PM EST / 6PM PST. In this show we went briefly into changes coming into 5.1, and did some thinking about changes needed to be made to Sunsong ranch. Some how Call of Duty, Harvest Moon, and Final Fantasy VII makes its way into the podcast as well. Please get us some emails or phone calls. Been a really rough week as work so I'm just throwing this up. Lag, it is the enemy of all online gamers, and it has been terrorizing Time Warner Cable connected players in World of Warcraft. If you are a Time Warner customer and have been experiencing massive lag spikes in game please visit the offical World of Warcraft forum thread on the issue HERE and post your tracert to help customer service agents fix the issue.  We covered several intersting news stories this week. First we told all of you the Fall of Theramore scenario is coming out Tuesday. Well, we were wrong, the scenario was released this Monday and has been live for quite some time by the time you're able to access this post. We apologize. We're a bit suprised as Blizzard announced they are starting to test challenge modes in the MoP beta. Most players expected the beta to shut down last Tuesday the 11th of September, but the beta is still open. No word yet on when it will actually be closed. If you're reading this and its not yet 6PM CST on September 18th 2012...chances are it is past this time...but if its not head over to Best Buy's website and join in on the moderated chat with Blizzard game developers to get more of your WoW related questions answered. Xantar has returned and apparently has been on a WoW binge for the past several days after discovering patch 5.0.4 only taking breaks to play a little Guild Wars 2. Xantar was unable to make this show so we we're able to get ahold of our old friend Tam. Sigmandis and Tam talk about the changes 5.0.4 has brought to the live realm. We talk in depth about the new talent system, some UI changes, changes to the mounts and achievement system, and what to expect with the badge conversion. We also talk about how you can prepare yourself to relearn how to play WoW in MoP and what kind of prep work you should be doing to make yourself a better raider.

By the time you're reading this I'm happily jetting off to enjoy what's left of my summer on the Carolina coast. That being said since I'm one of those guys who leaves packing for the very last possible minute I'm scrambling to put these notes together so I can run off and pack my bag. First I want to thank Jay from Stopcast for coming on the show. I owe him a lot as he's the guy who gave me the technical know how to actually get this podcast off the ground. He's also a fellow guild member of mine from the guild Violent Apathy, if you're looking for a very social guild you should check out the guild website. This has been a very hectic week. I picked up my golden retriever puppy Saturday and he's great, except he likes to consider the apartment one large toilet. For those wondering my girlfriend and I decided to name him Arthas, yes, after the Lich King. We had some great discussions around what we thought each expansion brought to World of Warcraft and also talk about our favorite cinematic in the game. Download the podcast and hear all about it. Holy Shatt welcomes Team Malice, a top 25 US guild, onto the show. With Dragon Soul really causing a lot of stress in guilds suffering from the no-new-content woes we decided it would be a great idea to get a hard core guild's input on how to keep raiders happy, and keep everyone's spirits up. You also will be surprised that a top 25 guild isn't going to toss your application into the trash just because you didn't come from a top 1000 guild.
