This week, the crew finds themselves face to face with the brand new offering of a beloved franchise: Star Trek Beyond. Will the Kelvin universe consume them?

Last time game master Monte Cook visited the show, poor Patrick was sick and had to miss out chatting with one of his heroes. Luckily, Monte kindly took time away from prepping for GenCon to chat with us more about role playing culture, what inspired him to create Numenera, as well as gifting us the ability to give a little surprise to our listeners!

After expressing their excitement for the release of the Pokemon Go app, the guys discuss their enchantment and bemusement by the French animated film, Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart!

This week, the nerds dissect Marvel's classic original run of Brian K. Vaughn's Runaways! While Myles still holds the same level of love from when he first read it, Drew and Patrick recognize the series' merits while still giving the series modern criticism.

With Patrick out, Drew and Myles postpone talking about Runaways. Instead, inspired by the excellent reboot of Dreamworks and Netflix's Voltron series as well as the recent bit of Power Rangers movie news, Drew challenges Myles to make his own Power Ranger show! Though on the spot, the two come up with a fun assortment of their Ranger colors, themes, Zords and villains. If any of our listeners are artists, we'd LOVE for you to interpret these ideas! Go go Power Rangers!

What better way to celebrate Netflix and Dreamworks' outstanding Voltron reboot than with a member of that incredible cast? Voice actor Neil Kaplan, who plays the nefarious Emperor Zarkon joins the party to talk about the show, voice acting, and generally have an all out blast! You may now consider TMYN the subjects of the great Galran Empire!

For Myles' birthday challenge, we dust off the Full Moon B-sci-fi/horror classic, Arcade. Much to his surprise, Drew and Patrick had more fun with it than expected! Before that, though, the boys swoon over the recently announced Destiny DLC, Rise of Iron, as well as more DC Rebirth books!

It's our 5th ANNIVERSARY! In celebration, Patrick conducted a game of "Dungeons and Dragons" (technically Pathfinder) for Myles and Drew to figure their way through. It's an interesting learning experience for the RPG noobs as well as a fun adventure. Here's to 5 more years!

This week, the boys gush over DC's recently released Rebirth #1 and what they hope this new direction brings to the comic publisher. Shortly afterwards, they find themselves in the quaint town of Bemidji for this week's challenge, unraveling the superb first season of FX's Fargo.

When guest plans fall through, we take advantage to do an old school Talk Nerdy To Me, in which we talk about the non-show nerdy things we've been doing lately. On top of that, all three of us created Nerd Off trivia games for each other to test each other's nerd knowledge for the first time in a long time!

Talk Nerdy To Me is back as the guys celebrate Supergirl's renewal and move to The CW, which spawns a long talk about DC's television possibilities before moving onto our challenge: watching the gorgeous anime Mushi-shi. Being so different from so many other anime shows we've seen, we had a lot of fun taking in this one!

Civil War has arrived! However, The More You Nerd crew is not divided on how awesome the newest Marvel film is! Listen on to hear all our thoughts and (minor) criticisms for the newest superhero outing!

Last week brought in another fantastic PAX East, and our very out Patrick was there in attendance to talk to us about some of the great games coming to us on the horizon. Additionally, we have Jason Kim, creator and producer of one of those games, Children of the Zodiarcs, on board to talk about the genre bending tactical RPG!
