This week, we're talking RAINBOWS! We're talking PUPPIES! After taking out a Talk Nerdy segment with a SPIDER IN A TOP HAT BLAST, we dive headfirst into our challenge to watch Disney XD's incredible animated series, Star vs The Forces of Evil!

E3 occurred this week to lukewarm fanfare, but the boys talk about some of their favorite gaming announcements as well as pay tribute to the late Adam West in this week's Talk Nerdy to Me. In a change-up from his typical birthday challenges, Myles serves up one of his favorite movies that isn't more aligned with being incredibad and instead chooses a more shadowy path: 1998 the neo-noir science fiction film, Dark City, for this week's challenge!

Summer is here and we've got a lengthy Talk Nerdy to let you know of all the fun nerdy stuff we're getting into while beating the heat. Most special of all, Francesca Carletto-Leon and Mike Flood from Contigo Games join us to talk about one of our favorite gaming experiences of PAX 2017, StarCrossed! We had a ball talking the origins of the game, the mechanics, and the value of quick, replayable, fun games throughout our friendly chat with these excellent game makers!

As with most of the world, we were completely taken by WB/DC's Wonder Woman. So of course our SPOILERCAST is dedicated to gushing over the Amazing Amazon herself!

For the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars, we decided to forgo a review/spoilercast and instead had the hosts from the Fan Theory World podcast on the show to talk about our favorite fan theories from the storied universe of one of our favorite franchises of all time.

Destiny 2 had its content reveal with week, so you KNOW we had to talk about that. Star Trek: Discovery had its first proper teaser this week, so you KNOW we had to talk about that. Basically,we've got a jam packed Talk Nerdy before we attack this week's challenge: the utterly charming manga, Hunter X Hunter!

This week we invade the 20th ward as we were challenged for the first seven episodes of the anime phenomenon, Tokyo Ghoul! We dive into what about this show has attracted such a large audience, and what worked and didn't always work for the three of us. But before that, we do a somewhat lengthy Talk Nerdy, which includes discussing the trailer for the sequel of one of Patrick's all-time favorite films, Blade Runner!

Like the obvious a-holes we are, we had to do a spoilercast for one of the most fun comic book film franchises: Guardians of the Galaxy!

The guys return to a movie that defined their adolescence-- The Fifth Element!

We take a blast to the past this week with a challenge that predates anything we've been challenged to do before! Going back to 1912, we read Edgar Rice Burroughs' novel, Tarzan of the Apes, and dig into the origin of one of pop culture's oldest heroes!

In the not too distant future, THIS Sunday A.D., we wade through all the massive recent events in the realm of Star Wars before diving into the crowdfunded resurrection of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 currently on Netflix!

We enter a realm we rarely delve into this week as we have Jen Briney, host of the Congressional Dish podcast, on the show to discuss her nerdy passions of researching and understanding Congress and the exact nature of the bills being passed! While we don't delve into the political realm often, we had a blast talking to Jen about the nature of the political beast!

This week exemplifies why the challenges are so important as we discuss Netflix's Bojack Horseman's first season. After chatting about the new Justice League trailer and the rumor of Joss Whedon directing Batgirl, we dive into the animated comedy starring Will Arnett and talk about the effect of its slow burning nature.
