Taking a break from our regularly scheduled time hop into 90's Nick to bring you a brand new SPOILERCAST! Over the holidays, serendipity allowed that we all catch Disney's sequel to its delightful Wreck It Ralph, Ralph Breaks The Internet! So we're bringing you a good ol fashion spoiler-filled review to share our thoughts on it!
We move from the Darling house to summer camp as we enter Week 3 of Nickvember! This week we're covering the beloved kids sitcom, Salute Your Shorts. As with prior weeks, we dive into what makes this show work so well when it came out, and, surprisingly, still hold up today!
This week, we're moving from the Midnight Society's campfire to the Darling house as we continue Nickvember and take a look at the classic Nick sitcom, Clarissa Explains It All. Aside from seeing how it holds up, we take a look at its twist on the sitcom formula and how it resonated with kids at the time and whether or not the same material would now.
The More You Nerd is traveling back to the 90's for the month of November and revisiting classic Nickelodeon shows that shaped our generation starting with one of Myles' all-time favorites: Are You Afraid of the Dark?! We'll be looking into what made these shows such cultural milestones for the youth of the time as well as seeing how they hold up!
