Fear is a factor that is hard to quantify. Today I'm going to go into why fear is one of the major systems of what is rotting our nation from the inside. This is one of the things that we need to address and hopefully be able to drive out of society and better ourselves and those around us.
Today I host a good friend who has written a unique view of the collapse that America is currently going through. As a friend he and i share a great deal of the same issues and perspectives on things such as survivalism, firearms and even politics and personal philosophy. We talk about his book our experiences and generally riff. It's always fun and I hope that Glen will come back soon.
This is a really great Friday show. Today I talk about .22 adapters to improve marksmanship. Man bags, holsters a little about India and a lot about the founders and how these guys are now what you think about when you hear their names. Have fun and enjoy.
The history of religion in America is one that has been discussed and disputed for more than a century and a half. But religion, Christianity in general has a long sorted history that doesn't always fit the narrative that some might like. Since there has been such a dust up especially on our side of things about something that has been such a non issue that I need to do this episode on subject of religion and marriage. I know that this will walk some lines that I'm not too comfortable on but I hope that this will clear up any questions you had or even set you to doing a bit more research.
After you get through today's news and CWPs I'm going to address one of the most important an under stated skills that all carriers of weapons need to have. From the person carrying as part of their EDC to the Marine walking the wastes of Heldman Provence coming off of the trigger is as important as shot placement.
From Military patterned .308 rifles to how to manage the weight in your pack I'll cover your questions today.
A quick episode for your Friday on three things that are in the news and one thing that I really wish more people knew.
At the end of the cold war Tom Clancy wrote a book about a new threat. A threat that had to potential to throw the world into the Third World War. The characters are complex and the story might seem daunting but it is an excellent place to learn about the intricate workings of our government. Most important in this book is that there is a real threats exist in our world.
If you're tired of the talking heads Monday Morning Quarterbacking this story, this is a different look at the events in Colorado than you are going to get from just about anywhere else. I hope that this serves a learning opportunity for all of us.
In the vast expanse of Idaho there is a small range tucked into the rolling hills. This range is home the the MGM Juniors Camp hosted by Mike and Rhonda Gibson. Saarah and I traveled to this tucked away place to see two of my favorite people Duncan McNaughton and Allie Barrett. To put it mildly I am impressed.
Just a nice relaxing episode about our trip to Idaho.
Even with the advent of some new television shows the topic of survivalism is one that has a lot of negative connotation to it. In this milestone episode I take my time to explain how being a survivalist or a prepper is not just a common sense idea but how it is some thing has been a part of human nature for a very long time. From the first peoples to walk out of Africa to those who are rediscovering what it means to be prepared for the unexpected.
There is a lot of crazy stuff that's out on the web and I think that we need to toss some water on this bag of squirrels. Today i have some solution to cool things down and I also have some requests for those of you who are on active duty.
